Would of been good to see the work getting done ,so people could learn , instead it just you rambling and waffling on , and clicking the fingers and work is done ,mybe less talking and gulping and more showing

The fuel filler flap looks very tight to one side an the arch looks creased inside the boot

Shame we don’t show the work been done instead of just before and after, it could give the impression that your trying to hide something also looks like inner wheel arch is damaged

Yep, bump in the back has pushed the crash bar in and creased the inner rear quarter… needed a pull really!

It has more damage than the bumper and rear hatch, the right side has a crease in the wall and if you look at the filler cap , it’s tight on both edges. It will drive and look fine but it’s not fixed. If somebody is happy to buy it that way then there is no issue. 👍

Great video, it just goes to show what a single day can achieve, this is a beautiful little car, I used to have a Škoda Citigo, which is basically the same car with a few minor cosmetic differences, I liked it, it was ideal as a city car!!❤️.

Cracking car phill looks nice easy seller bumper colour looks same as the old one and as we all know these low impacted ones don’t have structural damage even a tiny bit they are assessed as cats so why do comments say stupid things keep up the good work

12 mins in drivers side rear arch all creased in boot reacon floor must have had a kink init to, the easy repairs are not so easy when you strip them down properly and examine the full extent of damage

Great video :) just be careful when your putting a jump item on the negative terminal of the battery as to get to that terminal you lifted the cap that says don’t jump of that terminal as you can kill the battery monitor control unit attatched to negative terminal :)

Hi Phil. Lovely Car, for all the reasons you spoke about. Cheap fix but I think you undersold it by at least £500. I know you had your reasons for a quick out the door flip but in my opinion the second hand market would have paid the extra. 💰💰 See you in the next one. 👀

A lot of modern VWs don't have a service book, I have a 2 year old Polo and the service records are recorded online I had an Up about 8 years ago but can't remember if it had a service book

Hi Mate, as others have said, I commend you trying and I am sure you do your best but the inner OSR arch is creased quite badly. You could not sell like that and pretend you did not know - you would not sleep at night. Maybe do another short video and talk about this?

As you say expensive at the moment, but it was a good clean example that made you a profit for little effort. As far as stop start goes unless you use your car every day, you need a trickle charger permanently on to keep it fully charged.

If it's like the citygo it will have a digital service record so best going to any vw dealer and they can tell you it service history

Why would the timming belt have been changed 🤔??? Its done 48000 and inspection only due at 60000 onwards. It's bound to look new, as would the tensioner, and deffo still factory!

Yeah the Ups all have rear drums. Even the GTI version.👍

A lot of new Seat Ibiza’s have rear drums too. They haven’t gone away from them.

Rear discs are pretty much pointless on road cars, all they do is seize up from lack of movement. Drums are more than adequate.

Are you sure you connected the jump starter up correctly ? Why would the earth on the battery be protected with a cover and the live isn’t ? you put the red cable on what looks like the earth ! Also that offside inner arch is creased

Boot floor never the crash bar always stops that type of damage when it’s low impact these have very vulnerable glass that easy to break

Untrue about the noco charger only jump starting 1 or 2 cars then taking half a day to charge.I have used one 6 times in one day and still did not need a recharge and they recharge in far less time than half a day.
