Great information in here, Scott! Lots of people need to know what's behind the curtain, along with the most important aspect of doing KZread with your day job until you can actually live off KZread.

For real. It’s a grind and most people that aren’t making content probably don’t realize how much work goes into it for little to no money. You gotta love doing it.

It doesn't pay to be a music gear KZreadr. If guys do it for the money, it's a big deep red money pit you'll never get out of. If you have the passion and enjoy it as a hobby, that's everything! :)

100% - the day it stops being fun is when I stop making videos. Certainly isn’t worth my time if it was about making money haha.

I get the fact that there are many variables. I'm curious about how many people use their youtube as a sole source of imcome, and the average amount of views it takes to not need a day job? Of course it depends on where you live, the cost of living in your area, and if you want to live above middle class, or if you're happy just paying your standard monthly bills. It reminds me of people getting into real estate. You'll want to have a little money in the bank before becoming a realtor, because you will not have a steady income. Also with youtube, you could run out of content that keeps your audience interested. I'm sure we have all seen people get a big following, and make a ton of money, and then they say one thing that their followers don't like, and can get hit by this new cancel culture trend.

It’s cause I don’t shred enough. I’ve heard videos containing the shred have an average CPM of $12,000…

Interesting, I wonder how ad blockers affect the stats, I've never seen an ad on your channel, despite watching every video. I guess I just assumed you didn't have them... But now I see I'm screwing you out of that sweet Starbucks coffee...maybe I should mail you a gift certificate.

Lol it’s all your fault my CPM is low. But ya I think ad blockers will affect the monetization. No ad, no monetization - for me or KZread which is why YT hates them haha
