How Much Meat Do You Get From A 1/4 Cow

Most of my recipes are over on my blog. I mainly put just the recipes, I don't feel I have to right along story about the recipe when I post, I try to keep it simple a short. lowcarbrevelation.com/
So many people complicate The Ketogenic Diet…I am a firm believer that food can indeed heal your body. I don't try to sell anything, this diet can be completely successful with food alone and you can definitely do this on lower budget meats. I do, however, recommend electrolytes. When you eat a high carb diet your body holds water and when you eat a low carb diet your body releases water along with electrolytes. You don't need to buy expensive electrolytes if you can't afford them, just make sure the ingredients are clean and free of sugar. Pickle juice even works or you can make your own, just make sure your body is getting them.
I don’t take ketones and I don’t test where mine are at. I also don’t count calories or macros. That’s too complicated and time consuming for me personally (Not knocking it at all because it works for many others and helps to keep them on track.) I just keep my carbs low (around 20 total carbs a day) and I eat fat and protein. I don’t count those either. I just eat until I am satisfied. The way I feel, the scale and the way my clothes fit help me to know where I am at.
I don't have cheat days/meals...my health can't afford it.
I do have some discount codes to help others save money if you want to purchase different products, but again they are not necessary to be successful.
So don't feel pressured to buy anything. Just keep your ingredients clean and try to eat whole one ingredient, God given foods for the best healthy outcome.
I also like to link a lot of the products that I use in my videos here to because people ask where I get them.
This is my health journey, it may not work for all, I just feel compelled to share it.
Thank for watching...God Bless!

I just got a whole cow done. Grass fed, no antibiotics. We are paying 5 per pound flat. 2k is a lot of money, but we literally never have to buy beef.

April 2024: I went in on a half with my son (each of us effectively getting a quarter). I ended up with about the same amount of beef as seen here. Grass fed, grain finished, no antibiotics or steroids, it ended up costing $7.12/lb. Keep in mind that this video is over 2 years old and beef prices have risen significantly since then. Still a bargain and the quality is better than store-bought.

We finally did a 1/4 last January, son's friend has beef and was able to get in on one. We have small freezer also so half was a no go. We just finished it ALL off in Oct between husband and myself. Did not realize how much different steaks taste (and texture) vs what we thought was good in past. Made NY Strip steaks from Costco last night and was soooo disappointed. Rest of Costco steaks bought will be cut up for fajitas. Since our guy did not have another cow going in until this coming January ordered from another market and picking up tomorrow. We are still on our guys January list as well. This should then get us through all next year...or close. Might have to get another small upright freezer😂

We just bought a half, (the 1/4 went fast) but I didn’t video it. It’s a lot of meat but it’s so worth it in the long run and the meat tastes so fresh. Make sure you have a lot of freezer space

We just picked up our half cow. Grass fed grass finished Wagyu-Angus. This is our first time getting meat this way so we’ll see. We got to pick our cuts. We were on a list also and had to wait a year.

How were the steaks? I figured corn fed Wagyu would be a little more fatty and when it comes to steaks more fatter more better 🤣

IDK I guess the prices went up . I just paid $8.55 per pound for a quarter cow. No hormones added all organic ect. Have to wait three months before I get it . . Put $500.00 down and they said it will be about $900.00 to $1,000.00 dollars total . But I'm sick of Walmart meat so I hope it will be worth it.

This is the most OVERRATED Fad that’s going on!. I absolutely know NOONE that’s a repeat customer on doing this!.. I have at least 5 or 6 coworkers that have done this!☝️🙄 most complaints are there is more ground beef than anything! … I’ll just pay local market price on a daily basis so at least if I do get a bad pack instead of a freezer full of complaints!!!☝️🤣🤣 good luck to all that roll the dice on a chance of a box of “better” meat!☝️🙄
