This is the most informative podcast I’ve seen, I get more out of Auburn Daily , As far as Juju I agree , hang with him until Big Cat then you need to pivot. We need a QB But I feel good about Juju. The NIL is there Close to home ,

Good show C5! Big fan. I want to lament on the NIL caution you mentioned. It just baffles me how Bama, GA, and even LSU can get highly rank recruits like that, year after year, and never seem to be hurting NIL wise. I get it, they are the programs currently in the playoffs, year after year, but it can't be that their NIL program is majorly better than ours, right? Prime example, the two lineman that decommitted from USC and one of the two has already committed to UGA with rumors of Justus Terry being next. Both 5 stars, which comes with high NIL for both. How does that happen? is this similar to NFL where guys will take pay cuts just to get a ring? and teams like Auburn, who can offer the same NIL dollars, have a slim chance because of "on the field" proof of concept?

Hugh already gone all in might well fight til then end. I know that juju isn't the end all be all but the preception and overall quality of qb if we get juju would pay dividends in future class

Honestly I think you keep recruiting Juju until he signs with a school. But I do think you go ahead and start pushing for Kj as well and let both know there can only be one and you believe in both at your school and its first come first serve. And then you go out and show how much PT improved, and that no matter which one is the QB, they will clearly get the development, wins, and especially the numbers in your offense. WDE!

I think we recruit juju all the way until signing day. If we don’t land him then oh well. There’s nobody left available that’s better than walker white or hank brown who both have 4 years left. Unless you can get someone better then what you already have then just keep recruiting juju all the way until signing day. I don’t see the urgency of getting a qb in this class.

@@AuburnDaily_ hopefully Lacey bc I think JuJu stays in USC I was under the impression Juju was a “ stay in the pocket not as mobile” qb? I guess not One other thing, Freeze is on record saying he won’t pay a million dollars for a qb. Jujus Nil projection is that much, right? Freeze meant a transfer qb, but would he really pay what the JuJu camp will want?

Yes that’s ideal but if you can’t get anyone that has a chance of ever playing then I don’t see the point. We have 2 kids who both have 4 years left. Walker will probably have 4 years left even after this season. You don’t just sign a qb just because…. Especially with the portal now. There’s no law that says you have to take a qb. If you can’t get anyone better than brown or white then I don’t see the urgency.

@@AuburnDaily_ok I haven’t seen him play so I can’t argue but I’m not a big fan of runt QBs. He looks tiny like juju. I like the big strapping QBs like cam, Tebow, walker white. Just a personal preference. If Lacey is as good as our freshman then go after him. I just feel like if we can’t get juju or Lacey then we’re reaching for no reason. Nobody left who is as good as brown and white. We would essentially be taking a qb just to be taking a qb. I don’t believe in the narrative that you have to take a qb in every class. We didn’t take a running back last year and 4-5 running backs can play in a year. Only 1 qb plays unless of an injury. I’d rather burn a scholarship on another receiver, running back, tight end, or really any other position. You only play 1 qb and we have 2 solid guys with 4-5 years left of eligibility. No sense in pivoting off of juju until he signs unless they honestly feel like they have found a diamond in the rough who could potentially unseat white or brown in the future. Now we WILL have to take a qb in 26 especially if geriner transfers.
