Thats an absolute steal compared to what people pay here in Toronto.
I love how you get embarrassed over things that we don't even care about. That's what makes you great. You're a very nice guy. And in fact, the toilet seat being up shows us that you actually have respect for others that might be visiting your house.

Mike - that is a fantastic price. You can’t get a view like that for $2,300 almost anywhere in Pittsburgh. I’m in love with that spot, you definitely chose the right one!

Yes Mike, 2300 for rent and includes everything but electricity is a great deal. Especially with that view. I am surprised you don’t pay much more because of the view.
$2600 in Pittsburgh is insane. The rental prices with all of the MASSIVE new developments is insane these days. Look at the new places on the Southside, Strip District, or Lawrenceville and the prices are CRAZY! the tech sector boom has radically impacted a lot of these prices too but many of those sectors are high bust too hence all of the empty commercial spaces now

Awesome apartment and view. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
I'm amazed at the rent and square footage. Mike as always great video and love the real Mike 👊
Hey Mike, I watch every video on the main channel and now this one too. I wish you the best of luck and enjoy all of your content!
Thats a hell of a deal for living up on the hill . This area has gone crazy with rent cost in the last couple years . Wish you all the best in your new adventure .
Ya did good Mike. That view is 🔥, the apartment itself is nice, and that is a reasonable price for all that is included. Well done 😎.
Mike! Just subscribed! Wanted to say that while I do enjoy the Autovlog content, I’m really enjoying these new videos and following you along this new journey of yours. I have a feeling if you stay consistent with these, it’s going to give the Autovlog channel a run for its money! Wishing you all the best in what’s to come. 💪🏽
Loving these new videos, haven't been checked into your main channel until the new S65, before that it was when you had the white Ferrari and the paint was chipping, so a while ago!!! I prefer these vkog style videos tbh, good luck with everything
I’m a huge steeler fan. Not sure how well you can see the field, but add season ticket prices too. Well worth the money imo. Really cool place!
Family this is your time, its nothing but growth, good energy and progress. Keep goin and having a good day is all that matters! 👌🏿
That is a steal!!! Glad you jumped on it and didn’t think twice. Great price and Beautiful inside out apt, those views, the balcony, the bathrooms….. what else could be ask for??? !!!!! Happy for you!!!!
That's a steal!! I wouldn't think twice about paying that, for that apartment with that view and everything it comes with. Congrats brother!! Also you get to live right next to your friends. Definitely a plus.
Love your videos man ❤
Love the apartment Mike. What an awesome view!
Thanks for sharing Mike, great apartment!
It’s astonishing how much rent has increased over the last few years. 8 years ago I was paying $1150 CDN (so sub $1000 usd) for a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment overlooking Halifax harbour (Nova Scotia). I can’t fathom how much that exact same apartment is now. For the current prices, I think you’re getting a good deal. Sorry to hear about your life situation man, I’ve been a long time sub of your Autovlog channel (like before you went to California and rented an R8 if I’m not mistaken). Chin up, good things come to good people.

That's a great deal Mike, that view is priceless alone!
I live in a small city and that’s a steal… great job Mike!
love your story mike!
crazy the prices in Pittsburgh here in Canada,Montreal the prices are crazy up but it's still way cheaper than Pittsburgh and we never pay for water and gas either so that's additional costs we don't have
as a fellow pittsburgher, that's a great apartment with a great price and amazing view!
I think you did well and as long as you have peace of mind that's all the truly matters!
That's an awesome apartment and cost is responsible for where you are. Just an idea if you haven't done it yet maybe do a video at and on the incline to show the view from it. I road it for the first time back in the 60's and you could barely see the point. Love the apartment keep up the videos on both channels.
I had to move for different reasons. And let me say i can’t afford anything and KZread is a hobby that I can no longer do. But I’m glad you got the deal you wanted and that’s one of the best views I ever seen.
Really enjoyed video, live in San Antonio,2bd 2ba, 1200sq ft, 1700 a month. One covered parking spot(no garage). Crazy how rent is so high these days. But great apartment you have, crazy nice view 👍🏻
You have a nice home, Mike. Great view and space, maybe you need some time to settle and get in to a new modus operandi to enjoy life more then you already do. I know everything about it because my wife past away recently.. but that’s life, that throws you a curve ball😅 Take care and have fun!
That is a really nice place you have there. The view is amazing!!
Mike Vaim Great Video I think 2,300 a month for your Apartment isn't too bad considering rental prices here California and I can't wait to see a Furniture update
You could turn the coffee table round the other way, so the narrower end is in the gap of the sofa - yeah it will stick out into the room further, but at least you would be able to sit down without a squeeze 👍
Yuor apartment looks nice and the rent seems reasonable. One plus is that you have a friend living there also. That's priceless.
Setup a gym near the balcony area! Floors perfect for a gym mat and some weights with bench
I like your new apartment. That area between the living room and the sliding glass doors, I would find a couple of swivel chairs to sit on when it is too cold to sit outside. Then you will still have the views to look at
You did get a nice deal on the apartment. My daughter lives in New Jersey and she pays $5K/month for a two bedroom. That is great they installed those patio doors for you.
Hey M. AutoVlog, definitely seems to be a fair deal considering rental rates escalating as a direct result of ^HigH^ mortgage rates for single homes. Owner of the complex improving and sprucing the unit up an added bonus. Even though ELECTRIC will easily run you another "Franklin" a month still reasonable. Many Thanks Yo ! 🤜💥🤛
Vegas apartments of that size exceed what you pay, so well done! My wife and I were looking at apartments near the mountain area of Las Vegas in the northwest, 1400 a month for a 1 bedroom 750 sq ft and nearly $1700 for a 2 bedroom 1000 sq ft.
What a beautiful place! Thats cheap for that rent.. unbelievable view😮 i was paying $2500 for a place way smaller than that in Minneapolis

Very nice!!! Congratulations
Pretty great deal actually! Awesome view!
That's way less than I thought it would be. I was thinking it would be over 4k/mo. easily. I guess you're at a stage in your life where you aren't looking to buy a house given your circumstances, so yeah, well done Mike. Enjoy it and best of luck to you. Hope you're able to spend some time with your daughter on Christmas. Take care & Merry Christmas from south & west from you here in Kentucky.
...heeeee Mike, compared with Europe moderate city.this price is pretty at the high side..but.. seems to be ok for Pittsburgh ...awesome location. So enjoy buddy. All the best to you, grtz from the Netherlands
That’s a great deal. Of course area is always a very big factor in price. Just for info sake. My kids are paying 2k a month for a small basement apartment. After the pandemic rents went trough the roof. Many of these landlords got screwed badly when the government said, no rent, no evictions. So, now they need to cover their cost. Rent may have stopped but the mortgage was still due. But anyway, nice place for sure Mike.
I’m sorry to hear about your situation but at least you got a great deal on the place! I live in a small city about 30 minutes south of Charlotte, NC and I pay $2100 for a two bedroom with roommates.
Thnx for the honesty
I live in the Ft Lauderdale/Boca area of FL and and am a Yinzer…I’m paying nearly that for a half the size 1:1 way inland…I’m ready to brave the winter again and head back to the burgh!!!
I’d say that’s a terrific deal. Best of both worlds and look at that view! Any more vacancies?
It's nice man Great view
Great video.
Hey Mike, was wondering what the rent was, thx for sharing👍In Toronto Canada, a older 500 sq/ft bachelor apartment can run $1500 mth and up. A 2bdm 1,000 sq/ft older building from $2,200 and keeps going pending what you can afford. Rents are ridiculous now compared to what they were 15-20-30 years ago and definitely more affordable then. You have a great place, the view is awesome the size is great and the price could be a lot worst.
You have a nice setup 👍🏿
I pay more than that for a 2bd 2ba home that’s 1400 sq ft in small town Sandpoint, ID. I don’t even have a garage, single car long driveway that can hold two cars comfortably. Btw saw you with the Ferrari in Scottsdale a few years ago been following since the fusion days. Glad you see you in good spirits.
Thanks!
Great video
So long as you’re happy there in your new space that’s all that matters..
That view is amazing
I like the place! I think you did good 😉
Pittsburgh is a very desirable city to live in compared to most other same sized cities in the northeast US. (thus the high cost of rent)
Good break down on apartment prices in your city. Also it does depend on different cities that how they charge for rent. Remember to always put the toilet seat down when doing videos. Some women are watching.
Mike I think you got a great deal for the view and 2 bed and 2 bath...and the garage which you need
I've looked at this exact apartment like 4-5 years ago, I toured it and did love it but passed!
With the interest rates being what they are, renting right now is more practical than buying a house until those rates drop. Once the market finally pops, you'll be able to pick up an amazing house. That view is certainly worth what you're paying and you're getting a lot of value for that $2300. It's not cheap, but I agree it's a great deal for what you're getting.

Market is not going to crash unfortunately, ppl been saying this for 9 plus years.
Looks good mike
The apartment it’s amazing, but if you don’t mind I ask, what’s going to happen with the garage ? Blessings in this new project and part of your life. God bless you.
Thats a steal. I'm looking at moving to The Waterfront in Homestead and its going to run around $2500-2700 for a 2BR, 2.5 Bath w Garage Townhome.
In the San Francisco Bay Area your unit would be over $4500 per month. I think you got a good deal
That’s sounds like a very reasonable price for what you get, very reasonable compared to that one unit. My 2/2 with a 2 car garage in an affluent are south Nashville cost me $2800 with everything for about 500s sqft less. Weird thing about mine is it’s integrated in a neighborhood a 240 unit complex in a neighborhood very unique. Too bad the houses here are 800k-1.3 million.
i think that’s a steal for the location and the amount of room you’re getting. never mind the included utilities.
Thanks for letting us into your life. Please do consider moving out of the state. Find new joy somewhere outside of PA.
My kid is splitting an old 2 bdrm 1 bath for college in Pittsburgh/Oakland area, it is a dump compared to your place. Their rent is $1300, plus utilities, no view, no parking. Your place will be great in the warmer months. We expect a 4th of July party video with front row fireworks display!
Its high but I'm not surprised. I figured two grand give or take. Nice view ,can't imagine not having the sliding glass doors to fully enjoy it. Get a good roommate & split costs.
As an European it’s quite shocking to hear these prices. I mean I know you get the view (which is amazing!) but the state op the building seems in quite poor state. Next to that I’m also doubting the 1700 sq ft. But hey at this moment you’re having a hard time so these kind if things don’t matter much thankfully you can (easily) afford it. Btw I’m always shocked by the difference in kitchens between western Europe and the US. Hang in there mate! Dealing with kind of the same thing here. Stay strong!!

@@NAKMEEZYoh well haha. I could say the same about the US. For me it’s the opposite. I went to the US a few times and most times it feels like a 3rd world country. But of course that also counts for quite some countries and cities in Europe as well. What I meant with the kitchen is just the looks. In the EU it’s quite common to have a build in refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher etc. In the US it’s not so blend in as in the EU. When it comes to the (rent) prices, it’s all relative. The rents in most US states is way higher, but so are the salaries. So it’s relatively almost the same. And by the way, in my opinion at least, it’s the most important that you have some good friends and family around you. You can have a mansion but if you don’t have good people around you to make great experiences…. it’s quite worthless.

Not bad! Way cheaper than the DC metro area.
Damn, it's not cheap living in America. I'd say that prices are at least double or triple compared to here in Sweden.
I moved from Ohio to Philly and paid $1500 for something I only got because I needed a place and it was not worth that much, especially with the renewal increases. Mind you it was a 1bd. I moved to Maryland, 20 minutes from DC and pay 2k for 2bd and it is nice.
Considering an apartment over here, in the middle of nowhere in Portugal costs ~1100$..that seems a nice deal.
Not too bad for that place. I pay close to 2k not including utilities for a 1 bedroom in North Austin. 850 SQ FT. Your view pays for itself!
That’s a steal for that place!
I don’t know what I would do if I had to find a rent. My mortgage is 1065 a month. 2 car garage and about the same size as your place. Rents near me are 2000 and up and smaller than my house. And that’s in Maine!
Nice bro I’ve lived at a few apartments but all of them were over 3k/month absolutely, ridiculous! I had to get out; cause they always want to raise the lease after the term expired…. I think I’m just going to buy a house in Texas where it’s cheap, the northeast is just too expensive but I’m lying cause I don’t want to move 😂
It's a beautiful apartment!
That is a nice pad but did you look into buying/renting a house?
Man, I live in a tiny one bedroom apartment 780 sq ft in Oak Park CA and pay $2500 for just rent. And the apartment is old, well kept but old. Rent is insane. Better to buy which is what I am planning to do once the interest rate go down. Rather buy even if mortgage payments are more but at least is your own place.
Being downtown and having a parking space, $2300 is not bad if you ask me. I havent rented in almost 17 years so I decided to see what the cost is of something I would consider comparable to your pad. I about choked when I started looking, 2bd 2bth ~1300 sq/ft, not downtown but in a central area, $6500/month. Guess what state I live in 😂

That’s a good price for an almost downtown two bedroom apartment. Here in Colorado that’s what you’d pay to live in the suburbs. The city will cost you two-three times that.
