The amount of yield obtained from pepper cultivation is determined according to the amount of yield obtained from a pepper vine. Generally, the people of Sri Lanka get about 500 grams from one vine.
Such a person has to get about five lakhs per acre, but a person who cultivates in such a way that he can get about three kilos from a vine, can get an amount of 25 to 30 lakhs per year.
