@@dannydaallah2509 depends on each country, china pays2.5-3.5k per month, Thailand 800, Japan 3k, Korea 3k. but china has more options with low hours and still get paid 1.5k as lowest salary with maybe 20 hours. Japan and Korea are around 45 per week. all that is in US dollars

@@dannydaallah2509 very little, many companies are paying 10 for one class, one class is 45 minutes. so you can spend 10 classes and make 100. they are not worth it if you are in more expensive countries, but if you liven china, Thailand, Taiwan, traveling, it is good to have and can easily pay your expenses

I tried a lot of online platforms this was by far the best.

just be aware that they will take a salary part away if you don't meet all the required numbers from the parents views of you at the end of the month, and these companies do love to penalize. so if they don't do that its a good and trusting place, so definately ask them about that when interviewing

@@unusedsub3003Mate, English is the linga Franca in South Africa. The only job you will be able to get here teaching English is volunteering work without something like a PGCE. A tin of beer can cost any where from 70 pence to 2 quid depending on the quality in South Africa.

With EF, I had to have a headset with the mic extension thingies, unlinited Wi-Fi, and a UPS(this is like a powerbank for charging your laptop and ther gadgets during loadshedding). I bought a webcam and ring light. Im not sure if these were a requirement though. I had a camera on the laptop but it wasn't as clear.

I worked for the same company and I got paid a lot more 😮I wonder why ?

yes, but if you live abroad that money can be enough, but they also penalize you for little things, so she made around 100 or so and they took some of it away because of something petty

I just took a job working as an esl teacher. I am an American living in brasil. I have looked at doing online classes for extra money. I do not know where to really get started. I follow the schools lesson plan and curious to if it would be best going through a company and use their lesson plan or maybe buy a lesson plan and look for my own clients. Any advice would be helpful

What's the name

R2000 for 24hrs of work. On the tefl website they say R400 an hour? so you should've made R9600 zar. Doesn't make sense to be paid R2000 for all that work. I was thinking of going into this but after seeing this review I'm not gonna waste my money

This is a TOP notch uneducated comment. No man. Do better. Obviously anybody anywhere will most probably refer to the currency they get paid in or that they use. And nobody expects everyone to know all the different currencies around the world, but gosh. Know that they exist and that America or dollars are not the center of it all. Someone commented about Pesos - all I did was google it and now I also know.
