    I had a euro R only had to replace the brake booster due to normal wear and tear. Later on I got an e46 and e92. I swear I had sensor issues and over heating issues blah blah blah the e92 was from a dealership too! I went back to a Type R and I'm grinning again. Hondas are more reliable imo.

    It's so funny because I've had both a cl9 and cl7 euro R and both cost a fortune with faulty wires,head gasket, wheel bearing, oil leaks( yes I know how ironic😂) audio problems etc. I've own an e90 and f30 and beside an ac compressor I've not had any issues.

    only 1 thing i dont agree on, i wouldnt include the servicing and fuel costs in the total as money spent on a car because no matter what car it is those are always going to be included as everyday running costs. how ever i spent $4000 aud purchasing mine and with modifications ive spent a further $6000 and i honestly couldnt be happier clocked around about 20,000km in the 18 months ive owned it to calculate petrol costs is impossible as sometimes a full tank is worth $80 and sometimes its worth $110

  • @KiwiCarLife

    Yes fair enough, do some quick mafs and you'll have your answer. I wanted to discuss the total cost because I think fuel and servicing costs are important and will be different depending on the car

  • @caelumbrandwood8554
    @caelumbrandwood85542 жыл бұрын

    $18,464 seems more accurate to me, as you would need to insure, service and put fuel in any car you purchased.. Maybe minus the fuel if it were an EV but in that case, your total costs would be MUCH higher. Cool ride :)
