How Much Firewood Is In Two Large Fir Trees? Weekend Warriors Day 2

Ойын-сауық

Welcome back to the thrilling continuation of our Weekend Warriors adventure! In this episode, we pick up where we left off, tackling the remaining challenge from our previous video. Join me as we dive headfirst into the daunting task of extracting firewood from the massive stumps of two towering fir trees.
Using our expertise and trusty chainsaws, we meticulously work our way through the massive trunks, making over 150 cuts to bring all the wood down to the ground. Witness the sheer determination and perseverance it takes to turn these monumental stumps into valuable firewood, one piece at a time.
As we embark on this firewood extraction journey, we also take a moment to appreciate the sheer quantity of wood concealed within these majestic trees. It's a testament to the incredible natural resources they provide.
Join us on this Day 2 adventure of the Weekend Warriors series and be amazed by the bountiful firewood we uncover from these two magnificent fir trees. Don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell to stay tuned for more exciting arborist adventures to come!

24:15 is priceless, never stop having the mentality of training and teaching. You saw that he wanted to try the "Fancy" saw and you provided him an opportunity that he might have never had. Then to top it off, you took some time to teach, again, PRICELESS. This is a type of work ethic that we all need to strive for.

@@MadMax-yq9ixhey man, thankyou for your interest, like I said on the comment above, I only saw this. I appreciate your interest man. One of my then best friends was involved in a big hotel fire, leaving him in a 5 day induced coma. Absolutely horrendous. When the video came out, I just received that news, and this genuinely gave me a kick under my butt to get my crap together, be strong, and help his family out the best I could. Sadly we’re not longer friends. He genuinely thinks I did adult things with his girlfriend while he was in hospital, which I absolutely did not do. Its sad that it went like this, but I can look myself in the mirror knowing I was there, when people needed someone, and I did the best I can do. Yes, it hurts, but Im finding peace with it.

When you were talking about efficiency I absolutely agree. When I got a few guys to help on the ground I made small cuts. Everyone was moving. Job was 90% done when my spurs hit the dirt to throw the stub. By the time I stripped off my gear all I had to do was help lift the big chunks and we were done. One guy was always raking and collecting little twigs.

Conserves energy and keeps saw in the cut while you push the top chunk. Cut all the way thru the top chunk and then drop down and start your second chunk a 1/4-1/2 way thru so it holds your saw for you. And then push your top chunk off and continue cutting your second chunk . ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾

From an old guy. If you lead the cut with the bottom of the chain,,, normal,, the chain clears all the chips out and then when you finish to cut the weight of the wood settles on to the bar and chain. BUT If you cut with the top of the bar when chunking it,, particularly when the chunks begin to be of size and weight,, the sawdust packs the cut,, and the chunk sits on the sawdust,, not the bar and chain. When the chunks get large, cut it backwards. Saves having to lever the bar and chain out from under the chunk.

I advise you to put, at the end of the video, a before and after, with trees and without trees. for those who watch I assure you that it is satisfactory 😊

This vid is a good one. I’m 13 and I know how to skin/ climb a tree. The biggest I’ve done is a 100 ft tree and it went well. You keep on going Treeson.

Impressive work. I could never work up so high. Those working in their gardens always check local rules eg where I live (conservation area) even if a particular tree does not have a Tree Preservation Order on it we have to give 6 weeks notice to the council before doing tree work which is then published to give time for objections and if none then can take it out.
