why not have a forage wagon for the straw and hay? You could use a bunker silo instead of bales to ferment it, and you could use the lizard tardis xl forage wagon. Holds 200k farming units

I use the GEA cowbarns with robots and the field farm factory. I just mow the field and drop the grass into the factory to produce the hay and silage so there's no need to bale at all. The Lizard forage wagon and front windrower makes quick work of clearing the field or a forage harvester and daisy chain several Lizard tippers also works but it can be a bit slow and the silage additive capacity isn't great. The field factory can hold over 4 million litres of each product after a couple of upgrades with the upgrade factory mod and from memory it can process the same amount in less than a day. It can also do the manure to fert production chain at the same time. If using the new stationary baler pack it's possible to increase the silage amount as the additive can be added when collecting and also when baling so the two stack together and add another 10% to the base amount.

My late maternal grandfather had that exact make and model of tractor on his cattle farm in SE Wisconsin.

I think I overdid the grass fields on Western Wild as I just pulled in a harvest of over 8 million litres from 2 fields, the wheat came up a month early and that was just under 1 million so it's been a busy busy day, I haven't even looked at the straw yet.

i like a different mod cow pasture i think. It comes with a robo feeded that means all you have to do is load it with the grass straw and silage, and it will make TMR itself and feed the cows automatically.

i used to live a couple of miles from the Väderstad factory. Väderstad is a small town located in Östergötland, Sweden located on a huge plain between Linköping and Motala.

Tip for the use of a Helicopter - when the tank is small make sure the 'fuel' you need is close. If you have the fertilizer next to the field instead of at the farm you can bang out runs & refuel right by the field

If you're ok with being more hands off, farm manager type then get the switch one for sure. If you wanted to be more of a plow it yourself, mow it yourself, driving the tractors constantly... Realism kind of a thing, the switch version is going to be a bit of a let down is what I've HEARD. I am not saying this from experience, so take it with a grain of wheat.

Why not spring for a mixing wagon if you're having issues making TMR? It is crazy easier and faster than putting different bales into the trailer style mixers.
