Well, looks like recording from my bedroom with no soundproofing whatsoever with the sound of my computer fans in the background using free for non-profit beats, using audacity for recording and FL Studio for use of my poor mixing and mastering skills using Ozone 9 Elements that I got for free from Sweetwater will have to do for now until I get some attention (If I ever do) and feel that putting money into my music will benefit me.

How much does setting up a professional studio?

My music is rap and I make good songs if I could ever get my music recorded, maybe one day, but I feel my music is so good that I don't trust a lot of people to show it. But I'll find a trust worthy person like me I hope.

I got one song my friend made for me and I ain't recorded it yet but it's a good one it's a song that some people will hate and some people will like. I aint giving thu song out yet till I record it and video it.

Make a Quality Version Demo on a Cassette Tape & or Your own Laptop, convert it to an Mp3 then Copyright it for $55 by Electronically Submitting it Online to The US Copyright Office, And You Immediately Get a Receipt as Proof of Submission, its THEN Protected, & as soon as You have that then take that Demo to a Recording Studio because Your Work is Protected. 😊 RSVP Thanks Man & God Bless. @@KoolKatRecordingStudios I lost alot of my money to helping my family with medical problems and other stuff and I ain't got no laptop or anything but my phone and my speaker and my note pad and I feel fine with what I got. But one day I'll have good stuff like that for my music but for now I'm fine with what i got. THANKS.

So it’s more than just going to the studio and recoding the song and trying to finish it in the time span that you bought...

Is there a way to setup going to a professional studio? I don’t know if some studios simply don’t take A listers Or people who aren’t doing entire albums . I may be open to do a song or two at higher prices . Frankly I could have afforded an album at higher than what you said was minimum a few months ago. I kinda feel embarrassed to try and call them up and ask basic questions “how do you charge, per hour, per song? Do you do just one song or only bigger projects” etc Thing is, I reached out to electric lady’s studios personally and got no response . I don’t know what protocal is, if a manager isn’t reaching out will I be taken less seriously, you mentioned 1500 a song , so it isn’t based off time? I’m at this point I’ve spent money and can’t do an entire album but I can to some songs ( if I don’t start buying recordings gear myself )

Studios are very open to working with indie artists nowadays. Just start making the calls.

For 2022, we need to explain the cost of being in entertainment. If you know about music, then you should know (production) costs!!! This era of entertainment, needs to plan or make goals for their career. A rapper studio session may cost: $30-$200 per hour. This is similar to being an boxer (sports) which requires (fees). A (model) may use (reservations). Everything costs money!

Yes, At a Pro Commercial Studio Like in Nashville, that Celebrities Use but which are Not Reserved Exclusively Only to Celebrities Nor Exclusively Private. However that Includes RECORDING, MIXING & MASTERING. But You Go to The Studio, & Record with Your Band Performing it. BUT If You Dont have a Band but You have to The SONG (Basic Melody & Full Lyrics) already at least basically Recorded on Something to Bring To The Studio, So You'll Need Musicians to Perform Your Melody For You, Then it costs For Session Players that are there in Nashville let's say, for that very reason to perform for anyone's music (Musicians For Hire) Then That Costs approx $100 Per Hour PER EACH Musician, then X (times) that Per How Many Musicians (Drummer, Lead Electric Guitarist, Rhythm Guitar, etc etc etc, depending on Your Genre of Music) Its a Very Detailed Profession.
