I shop on a weekly basis as I meal prep every Sunday. It helps save money by knowing I have no need to eat out. And it saves on gas and time. Oh and helps not waste as much food. It’s a great venture.

I find it's so much easier less stressful when you meal plan

I'm finding weekly meal planning can help you save a lot

I can never do meal planning for the whole week, heck I can’t even stick to meal prep for the day. It’s just so hard to stick to meal planning. Planning is just the beginning, but I think being consistent with it is the hardest part. And I can never stick to the list as well, I always get so tempted to get off the track. Im glad that you admitted though how you didn’t get to stick to your list as well, and I love what you said that you can always start, and that’s the important thing, preparing and starting to do it, now just have to keep trying until you achieve your goal. Meal Planning isn't an easy task but the rewards though surpasses the initial hurdle you have to cross. Sticking to a shopping list now that's a superpower hahaha. It's all possible but comes with proper planning. If you spend a lot of time cooking or eating out the meal prep even if it's for 2 days you'll see some changes. I KNOW you can do it. I challenge you to 3 days of meal planning. I'm waiting for the Challenge Accepted response ;)

You planned and executed it so well. These days budgeting has become so much more important with continuous increase in prices one needs to be very careful.

I always like to see the different packaging system , looks like a lot of plastic as well as in Canada . Berries and pears everything in plastic hehe . Really pricey over there as well

There is a lot of plastic. The berries are expensive in most stores here.

This was a great shopping video. I myself have started doing a meal plan for next week, and I am only going to buy what i need for those meals. I am also being more strict about what we are eating and drinking in the house. My husband does not like that idea but hes going to either like it or not eat lolol.

I think that's the best way. It's help control what your diet a bit. If there's only healthy stuff around you're not tempted to eat unhealthy

It’s easy to be tempted to buy more than what’s on your list of groceries for the week. That’s why I make a list and do grocery pick up to curb that temptation. I second the meal planning. I like to have a general idea of what I want to cook for the week and choose a lot of healthy options. Fruit is a staple in my home. You can snack on it without worrying about it being unhealthy.

That's a great way to avoid the temptation. I do that sometimes but they deliver the groceries so I save on gas too

Food looks so fresh and healthy over in Dubai. Comparing the US dollar to what you got in this haul, is it close to what you normally spend or less? I would love to try out this experiment in my own household and try to stick to a list. Thank you for the inspiration!

Groceries are getting expensive 😅. I’m been trying to meal plan but it doesn’t really work out in my favor because I’m not at home or I get home late. Thanks for some suggestions though.

You can do it! The initial time spent in meal prepping might seem like a chore but it helps you stick to eating a certain way, you won't be spending money buying food everyday or stressing what you'll prepare daily
