    I NEVER even thought about the shower head! Thanks for that enlightenment! Stopped video and immediately ordered one! One final question about adding longivity to a hairpiece... I saw a video where you were applying an oil treatment to yours. And it goes along, and further promotes my question I'm about to ask..... Do you believe buying 2 units together and alternating between them helps? Does it give the other one time to breathe, and give you time to provide some helpful maintenance to the unit? What's your take on using multiple pieces in tandem? Thanks in advance for any comment you might post!

    Hi there Curtis, hope all is well. I’m 20 & I’m planning on getting a system at a salon for the first 1-2 months then trying out the DIY path. I just had a few questions to ask you & would be so grateful if you answered. 1.How to know which system/base to choose and what are the differences between them? 2.What system or materials would be best for someone who is active pretty often? Because to be honest I don’t want to be held back from doing certain activities because of this ya know? 3. How much does the average system cost? 4. How often would we have to remove & clean it because i believe at the salon it’s like 4 weeks? 5. The salon said to me that if i were to order a hair piece that they’d cut & put it on for $100. Do you think that’s a good deal or no? 6. Can you rock a fade with a system? I hear you’re not supposed to for some reason. 7. How short can ones hairstyle go with a system? I believe that’s all of them, hope you see this man.

    Well covered, a tricky subject topic 'cause the most random variable in the equation is the guy wearing the unit and how the unit is treated - any friction on the fibres is going to effect it as you say, even the pillow case used is going to have an effect on the fibres' lifetime. Really informative, it's interesting to breakdown average cost to keep these units happening and perhaps not something everyone thinks about when in first flush of frenzied hair ownership. Great content, really interesting to view.

I was charged 1500 for my 1st hair piece and then I pay 250 every month for their maintenance but it also includes my other hairpieces I will need down the road. I asked how much it would be if I did the maintenance myself and they said I would still need to pay the 1500 every time I need a new piece. Hi Sir, You mention that we need to wash thhe wig only twice a week. Question: What happens if we exercise daily? Then can we was it daily because we sweat from the exercise. Otherwise is there a way round this? Thanks.

  • @HairExperience

    @HairExperience

    Hey, correct. Just rinse it with water in the shower. The hair doesn't get oils like our natural hair does so its really no big deal

    Gotcha. A lace unit will vent sweat and also get good water from the shower on the scalp. That might be the way to go!

    HairExperience : Thanks! Last question... Is there a hygiene issue if we just wash ( the base) twice a week as mention on your video? I am very concern that oil and sweat will start to build up and can cause hygiene and other issue if we do not clean the base daily. I am just wondering why you mention to wash 2 times a week only? Tks and sorry for all the questions.

    @@jesslynlim7482 did you end up going with the hair system? I've only just started to look into this and these were some of my questions around the hygiene aspect, do you start to smell an odor if working out and only taking it off after 2 weeks or so etc. Any update would be useful.

    Curtis, you should bring a customer on the show. Have an inexperienced customer do everything for the first time and just help along if needed. Then have him go to a barber and show us the finishing product. Might be a successful video, kind of like a tv show.

    Hi buddy, yeah your (good) stylist can achieve most mens hair styling cuts, but they never recommend any style shorter than 2-2 1\2 inch at the shortest, I've had mine cut that short in the past, and to be honest it was more work, you have to wet and dry it, apply hair styling product, just to make sure you look ok, I just find it easier keeping it a little longer, mine is a little shorter than Curtis.

  • @seand5517

    A decent FIRST transplant for someone with loss like Curtis for example would probably be at least 10 grand alone. A second would be the same cost if he ever wanted to get full head coverage. Oh, and it still would never be as dense as a system and with surgeries, especially HT's, there is always risk and you can never cut your sides below a 2 guard again and the result after all that is not guaranteed to be perfection.

    Lol trust me hair transplant is cheaper and better. Turkey is leading hair transplant country in the world from €1000 to max €5000 with a warrenty of 25 years if anything happens within that year its a free service. So do the math divide even the highest figure there it works out €200 a year and if its the lowest figure then it works out €40 a year 😂😂😂😂 about cost effective, costing less no way, No matter what you have to always buy a new peice no matter what and that my dear friends is spending more not less.

    A little translucent power appied with a small brush, trying to get it on the poly, NOT the hair! Then to set it in place a light mist of hair spray (alcohol free if you can get it) works wonders, die the shine,! Lol.
