How Much Do You Know About The Sun? [4K] | Zenith | Spark

Ғылым және технология

The Sun has always been a mystery for humankind as it was difficult to approach our star. In 1859, the first solar flares were observed by Richard Carrington and Richard Hodgson and since then, we have been trying to discover more about the Sun and answer the questions on scientists' minds. The Park Solar Probe was launched in 2018 in search of these answers, and as of November 2021, it has reached its closest approach to the Sun so far, into the corona and will reach its closest approach by 2025. So what do we know about the Sun so far?
---
Zenith explores the different aspects of space, including the planets, the technologies for us to explore the planets, and the future of space exploration.

Our Sol is a magnificent beast. Relatively well-behaved, balanced, stable, and life-giving. Whether or not we find we can ever leave this planet: I find it amazing and an honor to be alive at a time when we can study and truly appreciate the complexity of how life on our little watery rock is sustained.

You should try viewing on You Tube George Frederick Handel's great composition "Eternal source of light divine" which compares the early 18th century British monarch queen Anne to the rising sun -in the version slowed down 2'5 times !It's incredible and uses the same images of the sun as this video. The normal versions sung by sopranos or counter tenors are amazing too -it was sung at the wedding of prince Harry and Meghan.

The sun is a an amplifying resonator: at a certain distance from the sun all ejected particles are imparted with tremendous energy. Such that anything these particles now touch; its with a million degrees of energy. **The sun is a spherical amplifying resonator.** Because just like everything else in the universe, the sun too has a resonant frequency. But because itis radiating energy ONLY outwards the resonant frequency is amplified ... and at heights above the sun the waves become coherent and impart huge energy to the ejected stream of charged particles. The sun's resonance imparts energy, whose maximum energy transfer is reached at a certain altitude. But, above the sun's surface there's a whole spectrum of increased particle energy levels. Including up to a maxima. The pulse jet engine is about the best analogy to describe what is happening on the surface of the sun. It operates like an acceleration: with a maxima at a certain altitude. After that the effect diminishes as the charged particles continue to move away from the sun. AND, it is a magnify8ing resonator ... because it is an accelerator of charged particles.
