I’d probably add about 3/400 on top to cover things that go wrong which deffo happened in this build so you’re looking at around 7k on total in reality 🔥

Damn that’s wayyy cheaper than I’d have thought. You absolutely smashed this build, would have guessed it to cost more than double. Would be interested to hear the value of it if you were to flip it

@@nightscapeofficial I don't blame you I'd say it's easily worth atleast that, especially with how on trend van life is right now
Bro honestly this is the best and most interesting video / little mini series you’ve made since your original blow up So impressive and inspiring seeing the way you’ve bought that all together in such a low budget in such a luxury looking way and actually done it all yourself rather than bringing in trained professionals for everything

Thank you so much man! The process has forced me to learn to many different trades and it’s actually dope haha appreciate it man 🙏🏻🔥
Just reserved renting your baby for a trip to Scotland for my 40th Bday in august. So stocked. I drive transits for a living so fear not. Im hoping this teaser is enough to convince the GF to let me work on my own van conversion someday. Watchin your vids has me so stoked!
Been wanting to do my own van build for a few years now, definitely going to do it! Nice build 👌
Bro you’ve done some job on your mini home on wheels…So want to be part of ‘van life’…the freedom to go & do wot u want, when u want & where u want…must be epic mate. Your conversion, floor plan is one of the best I’ve seen yet…it’s gt everything you’d ever need…would absolutely be over the moon if I had a van like this. Good luck to you bro, enjoy all your hard work…My 1st stop would be Up Scotland 🏴🏴🏴 then I’d work my way down, lakes,Yorkshire all the way down to Margate,Devon,Cornwall etc. Again,Enjoy bro 😎
Good job it looks sick. Also this series was crazy, I loved seeing the van slowly take shape
Well done, you've done a bloody good job
my only concern about your van is the location of the stove top to the bed. i could see your duvet spilling onto the countertop in the opening shots. I would def want a grease guard or something protective for my linens from my cooking. wondering what you have encountered with this?
Great build… should be very proud of that!
Looks bloody fantastic 🙌🏻
Nice van mate, I want to do something similar, great job on the build 😎
Very nice build, especially a first build. In my case I would have more storage at the sacrifice of looks and some function (like at the feet of the bed), but I'd be more than happy in here. The under-bed utility space is designed properly as well - useful but minimal distance for the water and gas to get to where they need to go. I've often seen people put their water (and gas) way farther away from their outputs than they need to be, which is just waste in the end. When on the road, every inch counts for pipes, electricity doesn't have as harsh a limit, that can go anywhere, within reason! Will be interesting to see any changes you make down the road.
thanks for breakdown
What about the cost for the insulation and plywood covering?
Hey night scape I like your editing style where can I learn such techniques seems cool thanks
If you don't have friends that might add some cost in service, but overall it's cheaper than I expected. Good thing about building your shit like this is that if it breaks, you know how to fix it.
Wow this is amazing
Love this, wanna know how the engine and vehicle itself performs tho
Top job
Did you put any insulation under the cladding?
What was the insurance price then?
alright mate where did you buy the hob from?
This filmed it the virgin carpark in Repton?

This is amazing.
Van looks mint man, one suggestion. Maybe move the heater vent to come through the boarding under the bed into the living space Think you'll get more all round benefit from it heating a larger area
Hey Bro what name colour your van?
mate see even the price of vans look the same van up with 70k miles on it just now and you wil see how much a deal you struck lol i have a vw caddy with 140k on it and could still get 7 grand for it. great build man hopefully will see you at project underground again if your going :) keep it up deffo should build and sell them you clearly have a talent for it!
Esse pneu é um 235/70r16
Another realy cool Video about the Camper YES 💪🏼😁✌🏼
I wonder how much extra weight all of that has put on your van?
This is so sick, gonna try and do this for my old-man. I’ve been following closely so thank you. Maybe combine all parts together, I have no doubt it would go viral and get affiliate links set up in the descriptions to earn you the coin you deserve 👊🏻
Oi mate what you do if you need to go to the toilet is there like a whole in the ground of the van to take a shit?
what happened to the shower?
Another banger🌐

Very inspirational video. £1600 for that van is a bargain
I don’t know the first thing about cars let alone vans but this series was so interesting, would love to see a few journeys that you go on
i reckon im just gonna buy a fairly new transit, take the 15k hit just so I won't be worrying about serious maintenance costs after a year or so
Great van transformation! Inspired to do one myself watching your vids, any do’s and don’ts that you’ve learned whilst doing your project, for people considering taking the challenge on??

You remind me of my dad haha. Sending him this video to give him inspiration on a new project despite him having meningitis 3 times I’m sure he’ll get started. Amazing videos.
Unless it was done after the gas locker needs inner lining of metal other wise his habitation check will fail
I’d be scared every time I used the hob I was going to set the bed on fire that’s the only design fault but apart from that done excellent job
Love the van! on the hunt to do a very similar conversion. Cant believe the bargains you dropped on!
Jw do u still do parkour
Damn good price to get the van for in the first place , great results with it now also. Amazing that you also done the paint on it for that cheap also.
nice
you shoukd get the number plate N1TE SCPE or something
this van gave me the push to do it dude, i have been wondering around for over a year thinking about doing this but that van is better than my house and is less than 10k xD
This is one of the best self conversions I’ve seen dope end product...

👍well gel bro its sick...would love to build something the same but I got a family so a v50 is going to have to do for now 😁
This looks class by the way you absolutely smashed it out the park! Did you spend any money on engine upgrades as it been sat for so long or suspension even I can imagine that's quite a bit of weight added. 🤔
Come to Canada or USA .you can easily rent this out for $300 a day .
Vlog a night in it mate
Dope 🔥🔥🔥
U sould go And visit the Guy were u bought the van from, And show it to him
Unreal build
For all the fans from USA this would probably cost you around 10 - 20k with similar parts
It’s crazy I used to walk pass this van everyday in Fairlop area and I was a bum doing nothing productive. Now I’m im in LA chasing my goals n dreams. This was kinda inspiring because I saw him doing things every few months on this shit looking old van and he was getting progress every step of the way. When the purple van first came he was too embarrassed to leave it infront of their house I think. It was on the side road by the park entrance. Now look where it got to. N just like that I’ll reach my heights. Thanks bro for inspiring me to get up and take steps in my life. Big up
Smashed it mate. I work in the motorhome/camper market you'd easily double your money +more on a sale (even though I know that's not the purpose of the build) enjoy your travels brother 🤙
woudl be interested to know the list of tools you bought for it
I would make everything tamper proof. Just cause you’re showing off what it looks like in pretty good detail. I’m from the US and people here would definitely be messing with your stuff. But good rundown and good luck on adventures with it
This is a great purchase mate, my brother bought one and went across Europe in one with his girlfriend last year.
I watch a lot of van build videos and yours has really turned out to be one of the nicest. Its my dream to do one myself or own one (not sure thatll happen without winning the lottery lol but we dream) But yeah, great job mate. That green is one of my favourite colours too. Health to enjoy!

We need a cinematic day in the van life
What height is the van from the floor to the ceiling thinking of getting into van life ?
Were you ever a tradesman? Howd you learn how to make this so clean?
How much is the insurance then mate?
gotta install some subs and surround sound now have some parties on a road trip
Want to do a van conversion myself, no better way to travel in my opinion 🤘🏻

It’s dope I can’t lie, so many possibilities 🔥
Very nice bud ! I had a 77 VW camper van back in the 90s I bought for 500$ and it was in pieces scattered all over 2 counties. The owner was In jail and the lien holder only had the van with no engine or interior. Took me almost a year to track everything down. Like a dummy I sold it to a friend for 2500$ cash. Regrets. Great work my man. Enjoy !
This just makes me do it too
The fact he doesn't say how much the insurance was speaks volumes about the company that sponsored the video. If it's cheaper than the comp then say it. This video demonstrates he's cool about telling the cost of things but the folks that sponsored it, can't go into what their insurance policy actually cost him if he's even insured by them at all. Just a bit meh. Cool can though

What are you going to do about toiletries and bathroom? Will you mainly be staying at campsites with facilities?
I recommend to replace those fake plastic plants with herbs for cooking :D otherwise its great campervan man
Didn’t show you doing much to the engine bro, was there much needed to be done etc?
@nightscapeofficial

One of the reasons I bought it was becuase the engine was in a great shape! Only thing I have changed is the battery and will probably change the cam belt and water pump soon at some point. Or Tesla swap it 🤣

Amazing how cheap you can do that in England. In Canada, that would cost easy $40,000
damn tf id live in there for sure
Tried to get a quote for the car insurance company, wouldn't accept any start date for cover, waste of time
I personally think that would sell for 14k on Facebook market place clean campers do really good money
Dude get yourself a small powder fire extinguisher there cheap enough and could potentially save your camper if the worst happened.
@breaklux3823
2 жыл бұрын
probably not. if a fire was ever to start in that thing the only thing you should be worried about is getting out. With all the wood cladding, chipboard and wood in there, plus all the shoddy wiring and gas pipes it's going to be a total loss. a small powder extinguisher is going to do jack shit, except ruin the whole interior of the van.
Let me know if you ever wish to sell it. I'd be interested
