How much did Duncan suffer? | Total Drama Pain
What I’m including;
• Any moment of physical pain (as severe as the infirmary or as minor as the word “ow”).
• Any moment of a physically unpleasant experience (i.e. simply falling to the ground, falling in water unwillingly, almost drowning, trapped, etc.)
• Any moment of physically unstable conditions (i.e. illnesses, allergic reactions, symptoms, paralyzed, exhaustion, etc.)
• Any mere claim of being hurt on the show but offscreen, along with anything in exclusive clips, audition tapes, and the opening themes that were notably relevant to the timeline.
• Anything is included regardless of exaggeration or pain threshold (especially in Izzy’s case).
What I’m NOT including:
• Anything that happens during dreams, hallucinations, or in Mike’s subconscious mind.
• I won’t be including every time someone pukes, since it is sometimes not associated with pain or illness, but rather disgust.
• Most injuries that are closely related and happen back to back or during a montage will usually share one number, (i.e. Heather’s dares) For example, if someone gets punched in the face 5 times, I’m not gonna make five separate numbers for each individual punch, lord have mercy.
• If someone is chased by an animal or has a near-death ordeal, I unfortunately will not include a number until they are physically affected by it.

Because World Tour is the only season he actually deserves it in most cases, in Island and Action, not so much (bullying Harold = revenge for rigging the votes against Courtney) and in All-Stars I have no comment, but it's probably just justice leftover from World Tour (and I don't enjoy even the ones deserved, unless it's because of Courtney, then even undeserved are funny, but they wouldn't be funny irl)

They both wronged eachother in ways. Courtney goes to TDA to get back on the show to win, beat her competitors ( including duncan) and try to attempt to make her a duncan's relationship work at the same time. She attempts to change him to be more faithful with both of them could've just talked it out. Duncan deems unfaithful by flirting with Gwen despite the fact that she is technically going out with Trent. Bluntly admits to Courtney after her return that his relationships are none of her business. When she saids they were on tv so its everyone's business. CN plan was to make these two as toxic as possible. In retrospect however, even if the executive CN producers didn't ruin them. I could see Courtney and Duncan not really being in a long term relationship because they are very different. Overall, going back into my comparisons, Courtney should've accepted that Duncan was someone who wasn't goig to stay in a commited relationship long term. For what its worth, Courtney needs an overall good guy; someone that will stand up for her, support her, maybe teach her how to be softer and nicer. Courtney is my favorite but she is a brat in island. What she needed was a good person in her ear to do the right thing. Though Courtney and Duncan were cute together in season 1, I looked back on the two and really thought that he was a bad influence on her.

I’d like to know some pain stats per capita, because I’m curious how the show’s top pain magnets (Brick, Scott and Tyler) would fare if the number of episodes they were in were taken into account. Also, some of these really should be weighted (i.e. slumping on a bench should count WAY LESS than being beat up by a kangaroo).

A lot of these clips are actually sharing a number on my list when they’re closely related or when something barely affects Duncan at one point, something definitely more painful happens a moment later. I would’ve loved to rank pain based on how painful the pain is but that would be very difficult for me to judge when it comes to a cartoon logic like this.

@@justanotherguy1122 Yeah. A part of me wishes I could list actual injuries and scale who truly suffered the most based on that. Especially when it comes to Jacques having a higher number than Devin. One ending up in the hospital vs. one getting painfully clumsy all the time. But people have a lot of different opinions on what pain truly feels like so I felt obligated to count EVERYTHING, from minor bumps to bruises, illnesses, to full on infirmary and full-body cast type pain lol.
