Giiiirl, it takes me anywhere from 1 to 2 hours to read 100 pages. Your reading pace is awesome ! And never beat yourself up about how long it takes you to read a book it is not about how fast you read it. It's about getting lost into the story and losing track of time 😊

I’m probably around 70 pages per hour depending on the text size. 70 pages took me like 2 hours in Harry Potter though, idk why.

For me it's even worse, it takes me 4 hours to read 100 pages... I'm a very slow reader and I have ADHD, so I get distracted a lot and have to read certain paragraphs more than once to retain the information... I used to feel really bad about it, but reading is not about how much you can get through in an hour, a day, a week, a month or a year, it's about the experience. And the only person who I can "compare" myself to is me, and how much progress I've made myself.🥰
i read anywhere from 40-60 pages an hour depending on the book. you saying your not fast at 100 pages an hour is crazy!
Howls Moving Castle is a book and movie I have watched the movie and was surprised to find that it was so good! Definitely recommend!
THE WAY I STOPPED EVERYTHING I WAS DOING TO WATCH THIS VIDEO

I’m such a slow reader if I did this I would only finish one book! I don’t know how you read so fast but I love it for you
Howls moving castle is SO GOOD!!! It a book series and a movie. So fun!!
I love this 24 hour read version more then the timer bc the timer just feels like you're binge reading for a few days not really like a 24 hour read ya feels (idk if that makes sense)
i LOVE 24 hours readathons🥹
OH HOW IVE MISSED THESE AHHH
I can’t explain just how much I LOVE and am OBSESSED with ur 24 hour readathons and reading vlogs ❤❤😊😊
I am definitely a one page per minute = 60 pages in an hour = 7ish hours to read a 400 page book girly. It has been that way for many years and i am happy with that. 💖
Yesss a 24hour readathon!! Just what I needed at the end of today. Howls moving castle is a book and a movie and I would highly recommend! It’s a really cute fantasy and the movie is a Studio Ghibli movie so the animation is soooo beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommend.
Yess a 24 hour readathon. Love them!!❤
Girl! You would LOVE Howls Moving Castle. It’s both a movie and a book. it’s a beautiful story! You would absolutely eat it up! ❤

There is a kindle novella called ‘becoming the dark prince’ that includes scenes that take place during and after ‘Escaping Houdini’ it’s only 66 pages long 😊

I love the colors of your crochet blanket.
this made my day
My day is always made when you post. ❤ Hands down my fav Booktuber 😭
I love any type of 24 hour readathon vlog, but the timer method is definitely my favorite! ❤
loved this format of 24 hours and this felt like such a nice catch up
Yes a 24 hour readathon love it ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Part of me loves the timer method because it's like a realistic actually reading for 24 hours. however, I understand why for time reasons a person might choose one 24hr period and read as much as they can, whether sleeping or straight reading
I'm so GLAD you liked Half a Soul!! It's one of my favorite books I read last year!
I love the 24 hour readathon! I like the timer method best 😊 would love to see these more on your channel
Hi Rachel, I love your videos, they always make my day. Your reading pace is perfect for you, and that's all that matters. I love your honesty and positive vibes. I hope you're doing well, and that nothing but wonderful things come your way. You're amazing! Love you, girl!
Your 24h readathons are the reason i subscribed in the first place❤
I just love your videos so much. They make me so happy. Thank you so much❤. Also don’t stress how many books you’re reading. I read 3 books last month after reading 8 the month before. Your reading so much and also the asmr parts are so good.
I read half a soul last week with my fable book club and had the 5 star tingles and giggles and excitement the whole way through. It was the best experience! An easy favorite of the year so far !
I have put the Kerri Maniscalco series on my Amazon wish list and also Half a Soul. Thank you for another great video, I love the 24 hour reading vlogs :)
this has persuaded me to read a dolly alderton book 💘
Hi Rachel, Love the 24 hour readathon format. Also, can you share the crochet blanket you are working on? I love the color combination. Books and crochet- my happy place! Thanks! 💗
Have you read any Mariana Zapata books? Sounds like you would like them, slow burn romances so couples have a emotional connection first, lots of acts of service etc
Can you do a favorites video of books you’d recommend from each genre
I liked this method but I would have liked to see you timing how many hours you actually read in this window!
I definitely gotta get back to my crocheting
hi, howl's moving castle is a book and a japanese animated movie AKA anime
I highly recommend reading the becoming the dark prince novella from the stalking Jack the Ripper series, it’s just a fun and sweet novella!
Whenever you use the electric candle lighter thing the buzzing sound it makes freaks my dog out every single time 😂 always catches my dog and me off guard
I loved Half a Soul too! I’m reading the second one in the series. I’ve only just started, but it seems really great as well.
You're going to LOVE Babel it's very powerful.
I’m sending you love❤❤❤
Howls Moving Castle is a book by Diana Wynn Jones, its quite a cozy/wacky fantasy which is really enjoyable to read. It was turned into a Studio Ghibli movie as well (with quite a few changes from the book). Both are excellent! If you like Neil Gaiman you'll probably like it 🏰
I literally had the same reaction while reading Windy City Series. Love this series so much
Rachel LISTEN you need to read or watch howls moving castle ..it's magical !!
The second book in the Regency Faerie Tales is called Ten Thousand Stitches and is so wholesome!
So glad you loved Half A Soul! I’m hoping to get to it soon, especially because I love Emily Wilde!! 💚
I'm so glad that you're enjoying Jack the Ripper series, it's one of my favs of all time. Love Audrey and Thomas❤❤
im literally about to head out the door for my nightshift im already looking forward to be watching this tomorrow!!
Ahhhh now you need to read the book after the right move, the series just kept getting better for me!! Try the fake out by Stephanie archer for something that felt similar to me. Wait for it Mariana Zapata and the Meghan Quinn series that starts with kiss and don’t tell (the 3rd and 4th book are my favourites) also so good❤️
What do you listen to in your headphones while reading? I love the timer method!!
I want to do a 24 hour readathon, but it's such a big commitment lol
There’s also a novella from Thomas pov you should read before the final book
A fragile enchantment sounds similar!
I only just got round this week to reading Half a Soul after having it on my tbr for ages - loved it! Not quite a 5 star for me either but a really fun, easy read. The Right Move and Good Material are also on my tbr, might have to add the Jack the Ripper series too!
Love a readathon❤ What speed do you listen to audios?
Love!
Loved this video! Curious to know what you listen to with your headphones when you're reading. :)
I’m screaming “READ BABEL!!” 😩
A series that I feel like you would like is the shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella (book one is confessions of a shopaholic) it's just such a fun time following the main character go through all different types of ridiculous situations that she gets her self into because of her shopping problems. I accidentally stumbled apon the series and read the Christmas book first (which is the last book lol) without knowing it was a series. Even though it spoiled certain things that happen I still really enjoyed going back i the world and getting the backstory becausei really did enjoy the charactes. It's just such an entertaining time and really really funny. I laughed out loud multiple times and even told my family members about certain scenes because of how ridiculous they were. I've read 2 of the books in the series now and rated one a 4 star and one a 3 star so not a 5 start series (yet) but it's just a fun time and easy to get through. Also the first book was turned into a movie but it was quite difficult than the book I found, so watch it at your own will (the movie was still funny and cute and it ead interesting to see them portray the characters that way.) I'd really like to see one of the book girlies opinions on the series because it's a bit old and not talked about. Ps if you actually read this I love your videos and congratulations on the new house!💖
I love the Jack the Ripper series by Kerrie...I'm so excited for you to read the fourth....so many ups and downs hahaha. This series gave me so much more than I thought it would ❤
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO MUCH IM SO EXCITED 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Ok the grey top with the trousers look soo good on you! Where are they from?
Yeah takes me around 30-50 an hour ❤
You should watch death and other details it gives off vibes to the first book you finished (escaping from Houdini) 😊
I LOVED Half a Soul, didn't LOVE LOVE the second one in the series :) but still worth a read!
i think you’d really like the thursday murder club series by richard osman!!
U should read cursebreakers by brigid kemmerer. Its a fantasy trilogy, first book is a beauty and the beast retelling. 5 star for me. Definitely recommend! Would love to see u reading these ❤
Ten Thousand Stitches by Olivia Atwater was almost as good as Half a Soul. I think it’s worth putting on your TBR. The Witchwood Knot is also in that world but quite different in tone.
Hi Rachel! If you would like a more emotional romance, I would recommend "The Consequences of Falling" by Liliana Rose Hastings. It's a debut book but with more of an emotional connection rather than physical connection! I think you will like it!
Howls Moving Castle is a Studio Ghibli movies (on MAX) and it’s also a book, Barnes and Noble has it. SJM has also stated, she based Rhysand off Howl.🙈😍
I like timer method but still this was so fun happy you liked half a soul I too like that one. I stand by that you would like anatomy a love story, would love to see you try it someday.
Howl's moving castle is an anime movie!!! u should watch it it's one of my fav of all time✨
Wow I've never been this early
where is the loose cream dress from?! so cute!!!!
Where is your necklace from? Have been looking for something like it for a couple months but want to be sure it's good quality too! ❤
where is your necklace from?! i’ve been looking for something a little longer like yours to also be able to layer !!
My favourite from the first album is but Daddy I love him and so long London and from the second, the albatross and the prosperity
17:42 - "A Lady's Guide to Fortune-Hunting" by Sophie Irwin, trust me
Howl’s Moving Castle started as a book or trilogy really. It was turned into a Studio Ghibli movie and they are different so it would be worth consuming both versions. I personally prefer the movie but that may be because it was what I saw first. I don’t know whether you’d like them but they are worth it in my opinion. 😊
Sameeee with Half a Soul! I read it in one day because I just couldn't put it down. Dora & Elias have my heart ❤ I'm currently reading Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia and it's quickly becoming a favorite, I can see the resemblance between the two, so I think we have very similar taste 😂 another book in the same vein you might also want to check out is "The Beautiful Ones" by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Love!! Where do you get your stickers from for your kindle?
can I read the right move without reading the other 2 books in the series?
Where is your bookmark from at the start of the video???
