Everybody that is not hyper funded and ridiculously equipped is nothing but a bottom feeder in the mining world. Bitcoin went from decentralized straight to centralized from allowing corporations/government mining. 30 million a day and 99% is going to the top 1%, you've already lost.

Gotta invest back in your investments. Taking out money out of your investment isnt an investment until it pays all your monthly bills. Financial freedom gonna take awhile but taking money out your not gonna get there. Better get a second job or side hustle to keep investing in losing investments or invest somewhere else. I thought you'd gone completely mental when you kept on buying more miners as the halfening approached. It was always gonna be a bloodbath. I guess it makes good TV, I just hope that your viewers didn't follow you or copy what you did. ​@@VoskCoin yes, but you are too focused to the fact you losing money, your are not losing money you are creating money, that is totally yours and not from usa or europe or china, i don't think you are losing . at the end you just transforming usd/btc (energy/btc).And Btc won't die, but the usd I'm not sure (probably gonna fall sharpy) don't forget paper money is not being backed by anything.

if the cheapest miner cost 7 cent per kwh then of course it's hard to make a profit.. I pay a fixed rate of about 3.4 cent per kwh. As they have said for ages about many things, Location, Location, Location!

Vosk, I think the fallacy in your business plan is trying to do all of this near your home in Indiana. Why not mine somewhere like North Dakota where Air Conditioning isnt necessary and electricity is cheap?

Troubleshooting a machine that stops mining would be a nightmare. You’d have to hire someone to look after all the miners and possibly have to rent a place for the miners. At the end that might be more expensive than what Vosk is doing.

@@aluminumchemist2586 Good point, except that would be rare necessity if you had a large farm. you could leave off a single unit for multiple days/weeks with the savings. Even if it was necessary, a plane ticket to grand forks or Minneapolis is cheap. The infrastructure to support mining is ridiculously expensive when you start talking about liquid cooling and 3 phase electricity. That pays for a LOT of plane tickets, and then you have the sunk cost of the initial investment to recoup .

Hey - don’t be so down! You’re doing fantastic. BTC is just getting started. Right after a halving BTC mining value always drops temporarily. But look out 6 months / 1.5 years projecting where BTC price will be and consider profitability of coins you mine now - but not sell now. I agree with you fully - gotta focus on driving down your electric price. Some investment in solar will really help you

I run a M60s 4 x 1000W microinverters and 8 x 545W panels and they produce 28KW energy, it's 7H15 solar, combined with dual rate I save 40% of the daily running cost. Since ASICS take all the solar that you can produce the ROI is very fast since you won't use batteries, if you learn how to install them you can do it for 1/3 of the price, also buying in bulk save you a lot, with a full pallet of 31 panels the price of each drop to 50%.

When is your solar farm going to be ready?

If mining is rough right now, how would it be after the next halving and the next halving? And what does that mean for the viability of bitcoin itself?!

im realy starting to wonder wat will happen after the next halving , unless bitcoin will become worth 120000 dollar per coin (or asic miners can get hashrates that are twice as mush at the same power consumption ) by the time of the next halving , it will become impossible to turn a profit unless you have free power i think right now the s21 running at 200ths at a reasonable powerconsumption is about the only miner that can pull it of nowadays at the current btc price , though it takes a machine like that priced at 4.521,67 euro about 2,5 years to pay for itself at its current price before it actually makes money , wonder wat that miner will cost next year (2070 euro?) and if it takes less time (1.5 years?) to turn a profit than the same machine bought a year earlier looking at the current price (new) for the 110th/s s19 pro that price for an s21 next year isnt a too far fetched , might be worth waiting a year while running youre payed for older rigs that allthough less still churn out coins for another year before upgrading to last years model dont know wat youre old rigs resell value will be by then though

Mining BTC is a losing game. I made this mistake last halving. My one S19J was making more yield then his entire farm is now. The problem is halving only really hurts small miners. The larger miners double down and buy more newer miners. The hash rate only briefly went down and then it exploded back up. It was less then 3 months my 5 s19J were making the same yield as my one that was making prior. 8 months after initial purchase, the double storm hit where power started going up and later followed with bitcoin price coming down. At best, I could only break even. IT took me much longer, but I eventually realized it was a losing game. BTC requires too much power to make it worthwhile. You need to either jump all in with 3-5 million dollar farm or play for scraps. ITs better to focus on mining other things and converting the profits to bitcoin.

Interesting video on the reality of Bitcoin mining. I hope everyone has reserved money for mining Bitcoin. It is already a rich man's game and will cost more to make money because the mining machines will only become more costly. That .07 kwh will not save you in the long run.

I'm guessing you have to do your best to hold out until bitcoin price goes up again, and then it'll correct itself.

What's the feasibility of solo mining. Might that be a better bet. I know the mining reward has been cut in half to 3.125 but there are the transaction fees as well. I saw one figure of about $166k fees for a block but don't know how typical this is.

Everyone might be all doom and gloom in the current market conditions, but if you honestly believe that BTC is mooning in the future and you're stacking coins and just cashing a tiny percent to help pay the bills, then in the future you are going to be golden! I hope it works out for you mate. I believe in you and Bitcoin's future. The future will tell us if we are right or wrong.

I have a theory that btc mining will get so difficult that btc will tank down the road and it won't be profitable nor hold really any significant value. Btc is really not useful now days for the avg person. There is much better coins like sol.

Bro who the hell keeps mining Bitcoin at these ultra low profit margins to keep the network difficulty so high? Are the big boys on like 1c/kW? The hashrate hasn't dropped under 500 EH/s after the halving and there were moments when it went over 700 EH/s wtf
