@@Barncat01 When the motor shaft in the motor of the servo is rotated, it works like a generator, and it transforms the kinetic energy to electric energy, sending it back to the esc. I think that is also how EVs uses regenerative braking.

@1:18 Servo is back-feeding current into your ESC, you can see the fan turn when you play with the wheel. Not that it's a problem when you drive but i'd keep the wheel wiggling to a minimum.

Hey Kev!!! You need to get you a small anvil for straighten out your hing pins and pin braces. Having a good hard surface under you makes all the difference lol

Look at 1:17. When he turns the wheel fast by hand, watch the ESC fan. It begins to spin.

Those saw blades that ypu put on the notorious have loads of treads

Does anyone notice that at 1:16 , when Kev moves the wheels, the esc fan just rotates a bit. That to me is not at all strange. Another guy on KZread has a video on how to start the E revo 2.0 without tge switch. He does a similar thing , and manually steers very fast. Wow.

I saw the same thing lol

i have a scx10 crawler and its got a 55t brushed motor. when i spin the wheels by hand with no battery plugged in the esc power light will turn on for a few seconds. its literally its own generator. maybe one day someone will make a system that will charge batteries when your driving so you never really have to take them out to charge

Kev - when you put the A Arms back on don't put the black washer back on. It will cause the dog bone to pop out when the arms flex. I have even thought about sanding the arm down to make it even a hair shorter.

I’d upgrade the back arms to aluminum just like everyone else does and get a new diff housing because they really don’t seal the dirt and sand out
