You really had to be there. It’s the best cod ever made. Sure subsequent game improved on the formula. But this made the formula. Not only does it hold up almost 20 years later, it makes you realize even more how special it was. I’ll never forget how distraught I was as a kid after finishing the game and believing Price and your crew were all dead. This game knew what it wanted to be and it DID IT. It wasn’t selling you on a sequel a bundle, a battle pass. It wasn’t selling you on anything but an amazing experience 20 years ahead of its time. GOAT. 🐐

Very true. It’s hard to get the point across that we grew up with these characters, so the attachment we feel is so much deeper than just playing through the games today. It’s crazy how great CoD can be when the selling points are the actual gameplay and stories rather than bundles and battle passes
