I mean think about it, IF Barry Bonds had a channel exactly like Matt’s and just shared his similar stories can you imagine! I mean, Matt’s channel is amazing, I love it more than any other! I’ve learned so much and throughly enjoyed every second of it! Like to hear old stories directly from Hall of Famers, there’s nothing better! Matt is definitely a KZread Hall of Famer first round!!! For the most part these stories will be lost forever, so I’m thrilled there will be a record of his experiences!

RE: Food. I've seen a video where a MLB team has nutritionists who prepare meals and diet plans individually tailored to each player, based on their position. It was pretty cool. Saves you wondering about what you're going to eat for lunch when someone can just hand it to you and say: "Here's what you need."

I'm a fan, here to learn why what happens on the ball field happens. I grew up in San Diego, moved to Mariners' territory when I became a prepper. So, when I go to watch spring training (as I did in 2021, from Sunday 28th February to Sunday 28th March), I headquarter at the La Quinta on P83 across the street from Peoria Sports Complex and PF Chang's, but I also travel to watch games in Glendale, Tempe, and Scottsdale. (Gotta admit: Best thing about Tempe is Rustler's Rooste). Then, I come home and watch the opening 4 games of my local American Legion Baseball Team, the Missoula Mavericks AA's, and I said, "These kids played better than any of the ---holes I just spent a ton of money watching during spring training!!"

Hey Matt. Great longer video! How does it work for hotels on Spring Training? Do each team stay at a specific hotel near their complex for major leaguers and minor leaguers? When players are transferred from spring training to their respective teams do they sometimes travel together? Also, when you played when the team photo was done?

Man.. I've been watching your videos from the beginning. Before you even had an intro & only a couple thousand subscribers. Not to flex, but I knew way back then you had a place on this platform & the potential for your content to blow up - I actually emailed you asking about working with you on your channel & doing some editing, you asked me to send you some of my work, but I was so busy at the time, by the time I got caught up, I'd sort of missed my chance. Nevertheless, I'm super happy for you.. as a fan of your content & the way you deliver it, you deserve all the growth you've had & have coming! Would love to hear what tricks you learned about how to keep weight on during the season. During my short college career I always struggled with keeping weight on & would lose 10-15lbs over the season. I can only imagine trying to keep weight on during a big league season...

No insulation huddled around a space heater when you weren't hitting. talking about girls with a giant dip in.

one of my questions has always been, how do hitters and pitchers prepare for each other at the amateur level, high school, means senior baseball league, etc where even if you are lucky enough to get some film of your next opponents, you are unlikely to get enough of a sample size to even be able to get their tendencies down. so what do you simply rely on your instincts? on the science of pitching and hitting and on knowing your situation in general? like on a 3-2 count you should be looking for a fastball which can apply to any pitcher in any at bat and isn't really specific, like i am somebody that would enjoy studying and preparing for games, for pitchers and i think it would frustrate me to never really have any idea who i am actually facing and who they are.

Watch you live feed but never got my question answered. How old were you before you liked baseball and wanted to play the game.

Antonelli Baseball Hey man. There’s something to say about rookies being called up to the majors that has some sort of super focused almost superhuman stuff they do. You had a nice showing. Heyward, Starlin Castro, Javy Baez, come to mind for me (cubs fan). What’s your thoughts on this mental like superhuman focus in an MLB debut?
