I have the GLA 250 2015 and and it was a 27mm socket for the oil filter cap.

Well done Sir! I thought installing the oil filter upside down and wagging the finger and then doing it correctly was a truly excellent touch.

24mm socket didn’t work in my case, and although the filter cap has “25” written on it, only a 27mm fit correctly 😮

Never use a metal tool to slip a new O Ring onto the oil filter!! Even a slight nick will ruin it's function!
