I use the Wii wheel it's actually pretty good and it's more the immersive to play with it besides when Mario Kart Wii launched the Wii wheel came with the game so back then it was a bonus but even today I recommend it

You can also play with the nunchuck and use the joystick for steering

If you shake the wii remote just before a POW block hits you, the impact is much less severe. And since CPUs can't do this, it actually becomes a good thing for it to appear in the single player modes, as it gives you a quick boost against everyone.

This and Wii sports was like the entire first half of my childhood.

I’ve been using tilt controls for a decade and never used anything else - I didn’t even know u can use nunchuck steering until now. This is the only Mario Kart game I’ve ever played, so maybe if I had played like MK8 or smth, I would’ve liked stick controls better.

2:48 They actually added the missions into the game (Bosses and everything) but it was exclusive to online, for a limited time and they were called competitions/tournaments for some reason

They included automatic mode because when this came out, loads of really young people played it, so they included both a mode for people who had played older versions, and a version for younger people that was much simpler and a bit easier to control.

you can choose your Mii's weight class, just edit the body size of your mii from the Mii Plaza. Also for me the Wii wheel isn't a waste of money because literally every other control style hurts my hand.

Here’s what triggers me about Mario Kart Wii 1. Who cares about the karts, they suck, everyone just uses the bikes 2. Why do a billion blue shells spawn in one race, the only reason I lost races was because of the blue shell spacing before the finish line 3. The cars in Moonview highway are so annoying 4. Who uses any of the karts and bikes, besides the bullet bike, Mach bike, and flame runner. 5. Why did the online services shutdown 6. Tilt controls Just why Btw this is my favourite Mario Kart game

1, 4. Most of the problems that this game has revolve around balancing issues. You’re not wrong. 5. GameSpy, which hosted the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service, was purchased from IGN by Glu Mobile in 2013 and they closed its doors. However, Wiimmfi, a custom server that launched on May 10th, 2014, is arguably better than Nintendo WFC anyways, with support for custom regions, cheat detection, and a website for viewing room statistics and kicking players out of your Mario Kart Wii friend rooms. Not to mention that the servers are much better moderated, and anyone not playing fairly gets removed, so there’s no trolling, ultra shortcuts, or unfair play.

I once got nailed by a Blue Shell, then a Red Shell, then ANOTHER Blue Shell, then to top it all off, one final Red Shell. It was in the same race, and one right after the other. I wish I could say I’m lying, but I’m not

1:07 this is actually a strategy called "clawing". When I use classic/classic pro clawing is the way to go, but when i use a gamecube controller, its really uncomfortable to do. so people began to hold it normally, until they reach a certain part of the track. Then they claw. This strategy is called a mixgrip.

They are objectively the worst controller. It makes steering super inconsistent. If you look at the world records page you'll see there only one world record that uses the wii wheel. mkwrs.com/mkwii/

You can change the Mii sizes

The reason King Boo is a Heavy weight is because he's bigger than the other boos

Honestly I prefer tilt controls for my Mario cart It adds certain level of challenge to it

You can do tricks with just a regular controller.

I got her with the Mario Galaxy data so when I started up Mario Kart Wii and saw her I was actually surprised to see it and felt like I accomplished something in life

I'm preety sure you can change the weight class of your mii. It's not an in game option but you can change it by changing your miis height and weight

3:50 Similar to lightning strikes, cars and bikes will not be electrocuted because the rubber on the tires absorbs the shock

My favorite is this one. MKWii Is my nostalgia, go on and get triggered at me, comment section people.

I got another reason. It's not melee

I actually got used to tilt controls and this Mario Kart WII is my personal favourite

2:37 in my opinion nin uta is just mental considering she's a staff ghost of the FIRST LEVEL

As a person who uses the GCN Controller, I like the D-Pad as wheelie and tricks

VaderRageGames You are alone. Wii left you for 8 Deluxe with drift for tricks.

It triggers me how the Wii classic controller has lowercase letters.

Honestly the way to make the thunder cloud better is that you send it to others but still have the option to put it on yourself to add strategy
