Lenin did not believe that Russia’s predominant peasant class could make the revolution. Mao, on the other hand, believed the opposite. But in both countries. It was the peasants who suffered the most. Today, in both countries, rural areas outside cities like Moscow and Beijing, are very impoverished from low-income to zero-income

LOL. Your comment is pretty funny because it takes a real headline reader to post something like that. Ever wonder why someone seek a certain believe or ideology? He learn about history and what the anglo brits did to his country with opium. He knew the westerners were trying to poison his people. My god. You can’t just read stuff from a face value.

@@chendejian Yeah in the old days when everyone was brutal. If you look at Christian majority countries these days they are rather peaceful, free and prosperous. Whereas Communist countries are the opposite.

@@tovsteh Nazis are fascists. They’re supremacists who believe they should hold power over others. They were nationalistic. They adhered to a top-down system with rigid class roles that was ruled by an all-powerful dictator. Communism/ socialism is a system based around a theory of economic equality and advocates for international worker solidarity and ultimately a classless society. It advocates a planned economy based on need. The only dictatorship is ascribes to is a dictatorship of the "proletariat". Communism advocates for common ownership of the tools of production, cooperative work structures, unions. equality between genders and all people -"From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs"

@@postfab I guarantee if you go into a library and pick up any book on the history of China, it will show the death toll under Mao in the tens of millions. If you need me to show you a particular source, you are capable of doing your own research, right? Or just listen to what the historians say, your choice.
