Hey Christian, just wanted to thank you for the videos you post on wrapping and creating racing stripes. 3 weeks ago I had never heard of knifeless tape or using vinyl to wrap vehicles...Father's Day weekend I installed custom 10" racing stripes with a 1" gap on either side and then a 1" stripe from bumper to bumper on my 2022 Charger GT using 3M 2080 Satin Dark Grey vinyl, from what I learned watching your videos. I saved $600-$800 by doing the job myself. There are a ton of wrapping videos on KZread, but I learned the most from your vids, and frequently during the 12 hours I worked on my car on Saturday, I was telling my wife, "Christian from CK Wraps said to do this or that"... and even though the job is done, I still enjoy watching your vids! Thx again!

A very informative video.

5:37 Its expensive, but out of many brands I've tried I still like the 3m air release tool. It's metal, durable, and the point is one of the smallest I've seen. Haven't tried this brand yet tho🤔 I've always been a fan of YelloTools personally for much everything else.

Thanks for this video! What is the shelf life of a typical vinyl, assuming it is kept in a cool dry place.

CK, I always wondered if you can wrap an unpainted new front bumper or do you still have to prime/paint it before enough wrap it

Hi Christian!, great content, thanks!! My son (also named Christian) is finishing up wrapping his 2008 BMW 335. He did an incredible job for his first time but we are having trouble with the inlays and wrapping of the front bumper (it's a new M-Sport bumper). We can't really figure out how to use the knifeless tape to make a good seam between the inlays and the main wrap. Any advice?

Bro I have been following you for years you are like the gordon ramsey of wrapping cars 😂. I'm getting ready to try it myself and still don't feel ready. But my wrap somehow got significant sun damage after only 2 years (3m satin dark grey). I wanted to fix the areas myself and wanted to make sure it didn't happen again do you recommend ceramic coating? If so which brand?

Hi, I’m currently wrapping a Porsche 997 just a quick question the seals around the rear guarded panel on the driver and passenger window are really stiff and hard to lift up and tuck the vinyl how is the best way to go around to resolve this issue? Thanks

Hello Christian 😄 There is a topic which I have looked EVERYWHERE for and I couldn’t find a good answer I want to wrap my entire car with ultra gloss piano black from vvivid I want to also spray clear coat the entire wrapped car. Can you please do a video on such topics? Thank you very much for all the help you give 😄👍

Quick follow up The reason I want to do this is because I want to give the wrap the depth of a paint and protection as I plan to keep it on the car for a couple of years :)

Question! I have a Jeep compass but I regretfully bought the one with the white interior. So you know the door panel area gets dirty especially where you rest your arm while you drive..... Is there a way to wrap the interior door panel to any color thatd not white lol

Hey man. I've been watching you for a few years. I recently tinted my head lights ( 5 months ago ). They weren't the easiest headlights to do ( atsv caddy ). So I pulled the tint off and found " crazing " or spider cracks all over. Is this something that is common or did I apply to much heat or the vinyl didn't let the " air vents / dimples " breathe? I'm getting them replaced under warranty, thankly because they're like 2200 for the set. But I'm questioning if I should wrap them again or just leave them be. Thanks man, keep the videos coming.

This could be a result of too much heat but could also be from using a solvent to clean / prep them. A high % of isopropyl alcohol can also cause that to happen.

I’m going to be wrapping my car for the first time by myself. Should I wrap my two-door car with one panel or do it in pieces?

Hey, Christian! I've gleaned a lot of good advice for you for awhile now, but since I know you don't do commercial graphics, I wanted to point out one mistake you made in this video. The pink tool is called a "Lil Chizzler", and it's intended for graphic removal, especially for commercial graphics. Not that you couldn't use it to tuck (I've done it), but what it was designed to do was lift up an edge of an existing piece of vinyl so it can be peeled up. Anyway, once again, love the channel, and insanely jealous of your glorious mane!

I use most of what's inside the pro kit in addition I also use some of the other tools which weren't part of the kits.
