@@thekingpig you can’t really tell that by the tone of their voice. When I was a teenager me and most other boys I knew had that same tone. Just a bit less energetic doesn’t mean depressed.

Remember: Gilders are optional. (most of the time)

Getting hit while in a glider is almost always better than being hit on the ground since while on the ground most items make you come to almost a complete stop and in the case of a blue shell a full stop but if you're in a glider you get launched forward keeping a large chunk of your speed and plus if you're shocked glider is just faster than being on the ground

The exception is when you get hit and fall into an out of bounds region and get Lakitu’d, especially if he takes you back to the start of the glider. But if you fall onto an inbounds region, it is in fact better than being hit on the ground

Yeah, the Spiny Shell is annoying, less so with a glider

There are 48 gliders in the base game, and none in the egg cup

I would count the times when the glider doesn’t open up as possible not a DONT touch the glider panel challenge.

It’s amazing that Mario Kart 8, as refined as it is, can still be broken. Also, the Sunshine Airport skip should’ve counted, even if it only works with the mushroom.

Awesome video! But I don't agree with the intro cuz getting hit in a glider usually makes you spin forward allowing you to keep some momentum, so they're not more frustrating and Motion-Glider is faster than normal driving

1st u drift infinitely then u beat tracks without gliders, whats next: can u beat every track with a sniper rifle

Moral of the story: glider ramps are INCREDIBLY inconsistent.

I like these "how many ..." videos where you get a number as the answer, and not "can you beat ..." where you only get yes or no as the answer.

Personally, I would have made the rules for this count glider ramp skips like in sunshine airport, since even if it normally would automatically give a glider at slower speed, it is still possible to skip it. I don't personally consider "driving over" a glider ramp the same as using a glider.

Gosh, Rock Rock Mountain and Singapore Speedway are the most shocking completable ones for me. Those are two of the most glider based tracks in the game

Hey, I completed multiple courses you couldn't using a single glitch that just turns off the glider panel.

did you try drifting so your kart is 90° to the glider ramp, which then doesnt activate the glider? i think it could have worked on some tracks like shy guy falls if you manage to go far enough
