I don't think it's that unusual... While Moriah's style is bright and colorful, her attitude can get..kinda...dark, at times. Which is one reason I keep coming back to her videos. The visual brightness of her artwork with the dark attitude is pretty awesome.

I really appreciate how Moriah showcases all parts of the creative process, not just when everything turns out how she wants but also when she makes mistakes and how she tries to fix them. These are all so pretty! The "situation" will be ok one day lol

Artist tip: You can alcohol ink to gesso to tint it without thinning the coverage. This could speed up your overall process if you do a tinted base. 3:07 There are other tiny options also, but I find this tends to remain truest to color when it dries.

My parents' first pet as a couple, and subsequently the first pet in my life, was a black cat named Misty. She once followed my parents when they walked from their house out for dinner! They didn't know, until they came out of the restaurant hours later to find her sitting in front of the restaurant in the pouring rain, waiting for them. My earliest memories of her are seeing her waiting for me everyday in the back yard under the peach tree to come home from kindergarten. The two things I still have of my babyhood (I'm currently 53) are my first teddy, and a cloth book my mother made with scrap fabric, fabric paint, and her sewing machine; and the last page shows my mother's painted depiction of a black cat, and under it - instead of saying, "Cat" - it says "Misty".

Love the strawberry design! It’s very cute and makes me think of blues clues that I watched as a kid. Would love to see the little Loch Ness monster painted!

All the work Moriah does for us, even though she needs to worry about her kids and being a mom! Thank you Moriah for being in our lives entertaining us 🥹🥹

I love this! Also just a tip: if you want to paint the pupils a different color, try a color that’s a little darker that the iris color that’s in the same color family! It gives that cuties look without it being too bold
