It depends of the fragance, but generally I put 11 sprays, two on the elbows interiors, two behind each ear, two at the neck, and one on the back of my hair. But if the fragance is light, like Vibrant Leather or Impact Masculin, I sometimes put 3 sprays each time. Question: open all the fragances up at the same time or keep some closed for extending the longevity?

I normally spray 4: one on the chest one behind the neck one under left ear one under right ear NEVER on clothing.

I put moisturizing lotion where I'm going to spray, usually the sides of my neck, and the moisturized skin holds the fragrance for a much longer time than if you sprayed it on dry skin.

One thing nobody never mentiones! Spray in your shirt through the neck going very down to your chest and belly and trust me one spray equals 10 sprays on other places. Especially when you sweat you smell heavenly

Behind each ear, where the jaw begins, that's a great place to spray. Doesn't cause olfactive fatiqe, doesn't rub off on your shirt or jacket, and when you hug someone they are easily going to smell it there.

Definitely spraying the pulse points on my head tomorrow.

I was told by a French lady that you should always spray where you want to be smelled. This includes behind the knee, for when passing someone who is seated....they too can smell you. I thought that was pretty interesting 🧐 and it’s something I’ve been doing ever since 🌻

I think 5 is the best overall amount to spary. 1. Chest 2. Left side behind ear 3. Right behind ear 4.behind neck 5 on wrist then dap it to the other.

I like where you spray - with my undershirt on I also like to spray deeper down the chest to the stomach area - the more skin I get I feel like it increases the longevity After that I shake the undershirt to get that opening blast - AND I’m ready to tackle the day!

One on back of neck one above wrist, then tap to the other wrist. Depending on what I'm wearing I smell it most of the day, but I don't think others smell me unless they get close, which is fine by me.

Just to chime in, for an unusual option and perspective: I have only a small rotation of frags. They all go on my clothes, nothing on skin. I've had health problems so I need to be a little cautious. But the benefit: Greatly extended top notes. This can be a huge bonus at times. Also often increased longevity, sometimes hugely so. The disadvantage: ...Have to be careful about what's being used. Natural frags will wash out easily almost universally, the more synthetic-leaning frags can stay in an item of clothing, through washes, with frustrating persistence. The latter just depends on the frag, some will stick that may surprise you, some will wash out easily that you wouldn't expect. Example: VIW really *sticks*. A frag that is notorious for low projection/longevity, yet get it in your clothes and it stays there for weeks (especially with the non-fragranced laundry soaps that I use). Another advantage to clothes: Skin chemistry will have no impact on the scent. What you smell from the bottle will basically be exactly what you get. Of course many people do spray both skin and clothes to capture part of that effect. Awesome Daver, I hope all is well, thumbs up as always.

Do you have high blood pressure. I have been making my own essential oil colognes. I get 3 hours max on skin and sprayed a cotton t shirt yesterday and the top note is still there.

It depends on the fragrance, but I usually spray three in the neck max, and 1 in the wrist, not more....

I normally do 4 sprays: left side of the neck, right side of the neck (both directly under the ear, not behind it), chest and the last one on the belly through the clothes. This way, scent tends to cling onto clothing which is a pretty good side effect. At least it does on L'Eau d'Issey pour homme.

Hair mists? Alcohol maybe not so great for the hair. Any concerns with sun exposure, sunscreens and fragrance? Listened to a dermatologist who advise against using fragrance on areas exposed to the sun because it can cause hyper-pigmentation.

If your going out don't forget to spray some on your peanuts.

I wear a few fragrances but always find myself coming back to the unisex scent tom ford black orchid! Is this a good fragrance?

Do you not find that two sprays to the centre of the neck is a bit tricky because it's a concentrated blast directly under your nose? That's why I like two to each side of the neck and one on the back of the neck.

Not for me. I used to spray the sides of my neck but I found that I couldn't smell my scent as much.

I have question, can I do the same thing with fx 1 million deodorant spray?

2 spray on the chest. 1 ea.left and right of my neck. 1 on each wrist.

I was told spray it on the warmest points of your body and never spray it on your shirt because it could ruin it. I usually spray 2 on the wrists or chest sometimes the neck.

depending on how dark the juice is, it's a possibility, but out of the dozens of fragrances that I own, only one or two are dark enough to stain my clothes and you can see the juice beforehand. As for where to spray on your body, like I said, it doesn't really matter. I would just experiment with different places and see how it reacts. I usually don't ever spray on the wrists because I find it too easy to wash off when washing hands.

That amazes me LoL. With all the "how and where to spray" videos out there about something so basically self-explanatory I am absolutely shocked that people STILL ask reviewers for these kind of videos.. I'm starting to think its some kind of new fetish.. Listen buffoons... You can spray your ass, ur balls, ur neck your shirt your shoes.. You can spray the air 3 times and do a Jeremy spin through it..

the spray on the pulse pulse points is to heat the fragrance and make it project more, so a winter fragrance on a hot day should not be sprayed on the pulse points

I usually do around 5 sprays. One on the chest, three on different parts of the neck, and one on the boys down there... jk😂 I haven't done that... yet

another good hack is Spraying in your Belly Button (if you have a Inny type belly button), its a nice pulse point ,and it hold the fragrance longer.

A fragrance can no cause a medical condition, fragrance can cause your hair to dry out due to the alcohol but as long as your not over doing it you should be fine:)
