    I just started my store April 2024. It's been a lot of hard work and a lot of time, but I'm trying my best to make quality products that help teachers and that students can grow from. I go back to my classroom in about seven weeks, so my goal is to upload at least four products per week. Some products take me as much as 24 to 36 hours to complete. I'm enjoying the journey to having at least 50 products in my store by the time school starts back up, but my brain gets tired. I'm going to keep pushing. Thank you so much for your videos.

    I love your videos so much Becca. I watch one of your videos every morning while I get ready for work! If there’s not a new one out that day, I just pick an old one. Lol Your videos are very inspiring and so so helpful! It motivates me to keep working hard on my TPT store!

    Thank Becca! I have 200 products right now, but I saw huge growth when I reached 100 (it actually coincided with August & September months). I stopped creating just random products. I stick to product lines now and I am adding seasonal resources as well. Can you please make a video about updating/removing/deactivating old (ugly) products?

    this was so helpful! thank you becca!! I am so close to 50 products! i have a few I am currently working on, but right now in my store, I have 44 posted products!! I have noticed that as I post more products, my sales grow! i have already made more money at this point in the year compared to how much money I made at this point last year, so I am very proud of myself and how my little business is starting to grow :)

    Hi Becca!! I'm a student of yours! I started with your Roadmap to $1,000. (still on that road). I have 74 products right now, working on more. I saw a big bump at 50 products. My goal now is to get to 100 before August. (not sure I'll make it!!) Thanks for all you do for us. You are amazing, sweet, smart and kind.

    Now that I'm in my "40's" in terms of products, the creation process is definitely faster! My goal is to hit 50 by the end of March, and hopefully 100 by the end of the year! I don't do much in the way of marketing yet, and that's going to be a quarter 2 goal of mine.

    I love how specific that goal is! It does get so much faster. This is one of the biggest things that I saw it as I create a more products was it just got so much easier and the product Scott better because I knew what I was doing

    A conversion rate video would be great! I feel like I'm going through some growing pains with mine. This is definitely my highest month yet (though still rather small), but my conversion rate is much lower, partially because of a popular freebie, but even when I take it out it's still lower than previous months.

    I currently have 82 products. I didn't see much of an increase at 50 products, but frankly, I think part of my "problem" is that I teach English and I a lot of my products are based on specific texts that my classes are learning, so if teachers don't just happen to teach that text, they don't need the product. I'm in the process of "refocusing" into more skill-based products that teachers can use for any text.

    Interestingly enough I have the same problem. I often do things that are based on specific songs and if people are not working on those songs and sometimes they don’t purchase them. I found a lot of growth when I started doing more things that were skills base. So games that went with certain rhythms rather than song bass lessons. I still make those because they’re still valuable but I know in my head how they’re going to do and expect that

    With inflation hitting nearly every other area of life, do we also need to increase the prices of our products to be reasonable and allow us to manage our own expenses?

  • @BeccaDavis

    @BeccaDavis

    Yes that would be totally reasonable. Inflation is supposed to move all the prices.

    Hello Becca, i have some items which are very basic and 1 sheet so i want to price them less than 0.95 but TpT does not let me. However i have seen many others able to do so.

    Thank you for this! I'm restarting my shop because I didn't like how it started. 😅 I got advice from someone who does just one basic page for her shop items, but didn't care for it. I was already aiming for my first 20, then 100 products, but I'll bump it up to 50 instead! I have a list going with 62 ideas 🥲 I decided to take my shop seriously now in the event it at least covers my groceries in the future. I'm autistic, and running my own biz seems to be the best route for me. Thank you sooo much for sharing this. 💖 It is way more informative than I've seen. 😅 One page for $3 didn't seem like the most helpful, and you pretty much validated that feeling for me by saying putting in more effort is worth it in the long run. 🤌
