How Many Laundry Pods Should You Use?
One Tide Pod may not be enough, Procter & Gamble now says, changing advice at a time when the consumer-products company is struggling with scant growth and few new hit products. WSJ's Paul Ziobro discusses with Tanya Rivero. Photo: Greg Latza for The Wall Street Journal

4 or 5 tide me over til dinner
I use two pods for a FULL LOAD (10KG). perfectly fine. no stains, bad smell or itch. using many brands including Tide, i found cheaper brands and their version of pods to do EXCELLENT work without shelling the out expensive money. house brands really works great.

THATS GOOD TO KNOW ... I’ve always wondered about those cheaper brands , when I was a kid one of my grand mothers used to have that trend detergent around but Tide was used in my house so I’m still using that

everyone is saying to use 2 for bigger load, but how much exactly is a bigger load defined? it needs to be more scientific here
@totallynotpaul6211
Жыл бұрын
Of course. Because I use my scientific scale so I can use the weight and general relativity to graph the logarithmic decrease via the planke scale to determine the number of pods cleans my clothes.

@@totallynotpaul6211 they should do the math and then explain to us in a simple way, but a sentence like "2 for a bigger load" is overly simplified because each one defines the quantity of a bigger size differently.
i till haven't tried the pacs yet. I use more than the suggested amount of liquid.
4-5...yes that feels about right. However i fear the gelatin casing may clog the washer filter or pipes over an extended period🙀. So i alternate every so many loads. There’s always liquid on hand..haven’t totally switched over yet

ive tried using 2 for my regular weekly washes but its too much. when i put my clothes on, it smells too much like detergent . the worst is when my feet get sweaty in my socks. its like the sweat activates the detergent thats still in my socks. feels to slimy. i only use 1 now
I used 2 for a really big load of mildewed towels when my dryer literally wouldn’t start after a wash...3 days later I rewashed the big load adding 2 pods It’s ALL u need!!
3 or 4.....usually 3 with sweat and dirt. If you really want to blast it all. Then add some Unstoppables to it. Good to go!!!!

One laundry pod more than enough for a week worth of laundry.
My Bosch has got a 15 minutes wash,I put one of these in and the pod still hasn't dissolved properly,on a 30 degree wash.So think about buying these if your only doing a quick wash. The results will end sorting out slime in your washing ?
You can use 20 if that sets you at ease.
All you can eat!
since 2012...I just tried them 2021 lol
If I eat one first, then I only use two but if I'm not hungry and it's a load of towels then definitely three.
I've been buying Tide products for the last five years or so, and hate paying so much. I just don't feel like anything else gets my clothes as clean, and doesn't fade them.
Innovative product.
I put 1 to decrease Tide sales.
I live on my own and once per wek I would do a big load maximum I would use is 2 pods
I just use half a cup of Ariel powder I get at the 99 cent store. that's about 12 cents for a large load. Really good.

Dear god do I feel terrible for your drain pump motor. If that unit unexpectedly seizes to discharge water from your tub, you know what caused it. You overloading it with pods.

If you have an HE washer you can squeak by with as little as 2 pods if you don't overfill.
Can you use laundry pods in a top loader washer?. And do you have to fill the top loader washer with water first and then put the laundry pod in the top loader washer?.

What I do is start by running hot water and throw the pods into the washer. Then when they burst, switch to cold. They don’t burst very well in cold water; and sometimes only leak halfway through the cycle.
MY fav pizza topping
I use one and it didn't work well, I will try two.
This is why buy powdered detergent. They can lie with pods.
I don't know? How hungry are you?
I hate those pods… imma stick to liquid or powdered detergent
I use the whole box in one wash, better safe than sorry
1 is definitely not enough. The clothes came out smelling like wet rag haha.

Uttt 1 pod maam
me still wondering why my shampoo bottle says rinse lather repeat
1 is good enough
can i get a bite?
Nonsense. In a not overloaded HE washing machine, 1 pod is enough and too much detergent hurts the washing process. 1 pod and don't overload the machine.
im a huge germaphobe and i put like 4-5 just to be safe and for power i put how ever it feels enough
