    I appreciate that you are the only challenge KZreadr that doesn't use click bait. Every single KZreadr would put "can you beat banjo without jumping?" Or "jumpless banjo challenge" but you don't bait us. You title videos the way I think they should be with "how many do we need" and stuff like that. Thank you

  • @Eldoofus

    @Eldoofus

    6 ай бұрын

    @@stitchfinger7678What makes it feel like bait is the fact it isn't genuine, it's not too different from a scam because in most scenarios "can you do this jumpless?" could be easily answered by "yes" or "no", the latter being a huge letdown simply because it's generally unimpressive compared to the alternative... however, when asked "how many jumps?" (which is what many of these videos do after confirming jumpless is impossible anyways...), we naturally deduce the answer can be non-binary, and each individual jump might even have a story of its own, and so would any skipped jump to a lesser extent. It's not a big deal but I can see how it could get a bit annoying.

    What scared me about both games, and it took me many many years to figure it out, but the sound from swimming down to get Clanker to the surface. The high pitched buzzing they added to the music as you swim down there mimicked the pressure on your ears of diving so far down.

    for me, Banjo Tooie was more tolerable, but to this day, I cannot play Mad Monster Mansion without my heart racing. I don't know why, because on the surface it isn't all that spooky of a level, heck I have it pretty well memorized, but for some strange reason, I keep feeling this fear when I enter it and am thankful when I leave.

    58:22 the toxic barrel jiggy is actually obtainable using a clockwork warp to access the backside of the room as BK and shooting the barrels. We do this in speedruns because (as you well know) the steps to get there normally are waaaaay too slow. Unfortunately getting back to the front of the barrel room would require a shock spring jump, so you can't get to the Clinkers game this way, though.

    Just a small neat thing I just noticed when I was playing while watching the video, the yellow jinjo on the ledge behind the big door (where the quicksand jiggy is) in Mayahem can be grabbed with the golden golem. His kick extends just far enough vertically to go through the floor of the alcove and touch the jinjo. Dunno if you knew it or if it makes a difference whatsoever, but that's 1 jinjo in a family of 3 that would otherwise require a jump. Edit: I see you brought up the jinjo later in the video, welp. At least it saves a run back over the clockwork chicken option.

    Hey DPad, something I wish everyone knew is that Klungo's potions are random ONLY on the N64 version. They follow a set order on the Xbox 360 version - in the Spiral Mountain fight, he grows; in the Pine Grove fight he makes himself invisible; in the Cauldron Keep fight he multiplies. Since you play on the Xbox 360 version, he will ALWAYS follow that pattern.

    Hey buddy I couldn't ever beat the bird race in cloud cuckooland. When I was a kid. But there's a trick to win. You push the button at a steady pace. To stay beside him. If you get to far ahead of him. He'll rubberband past and you can't win. Basically wait till the very end to mash as fast as you can. Then you'll pass him to win the race. 👍

    Can’t believe I never knew the utility of the Clockwork eggs. 🤯 I must’ve played the game 20-30 times. Reminds me of when I learned you can equip the iron boots to slow down Shadow Link in the Water Temple.
