    Highly sincere advice and information that’s been given here on this channel. I was very much looking for anything like this since the majority of the information out there is money based first and not backed up by science. I’m lot more confident now on the choices I want to make to reduce my hair loss. Thank you!

    Thank you Doctors ! The video series have been very informational. Can you please comment on the Hair Stem Transplantation technique practiced by a clinic in Netherlands called Hair Science Institute ? They basically use a very thin needle (0.6 mm) to extract the follicle and collect just enough stem cells for the hair to regrow where it would be planted and leave enough stem cells for the donor to regrow again. Any comment is highly appreciated.

    What are the chances to damage existing hairs with transplanted when trying to increase the density? Is this damage can be caused due to physical impact on grafts or due to other reasons?

  • @TheHairLossShow

    @TheHairLossShow

    4 жыл бұрын

    Yes, it can be a physical phenomenon. If you are trying to pack too high a density into an area, you could damage existing hairs. There is also a theory that if the density is too high, then you affect what the available blood supply to each graft. More is not always better.

    I think that’s a difficult question to answer as it depends how aggressive your hair loss is, minoxidil alone could work for years and years if it’s just mild hair loss but finasteride would certainly give you the best chance of hanging on to it.
