I wanted to tell you guys this for a long time but always forgot by the end of the vid. But you need a shorter bow string, at least 2 inches. It would make the bow much smoother and also quiet possibly faster. If you look for a string I’d recommend bcy formula 8125 as a material of choice but this defenetly isn’t a must it’s just what I get the best performance out of.
@edkovac8978

I reckon putting twists in the string to increase the bracing hight would do the trick. 😉

@@lucasm4886 The problem is, they're already shooting the recurve like it's a compound. You don't draw and hold with recurves. The draw and release are meant to be a single motion, not held at full draw while adjusting aim. They would be more accurate and more comfortable either learning to properly shoot a recurve, or replacing it with a compound.
The indignation in Gaunson’s voice at the end was priceless. “Lucky!?!” 😂🤣😂
Here's a concept for the double points: Have someone choose between getting +2 or x2. If they figure they're not going to get many things done, they're guaranteed at minimum 2 points. But if they get, say, all 10 of the things, they only get 12 points. Contrast to the usual x2 modifier, where they can get 0 - 20 depending on results. Balance between guaranteed points, or maximum points.
@toziassmitt
2 жыл бұрын
Almost always better to do the +2, because you’d have to get at least 3 in order to make the x2 worth it
@Skorpeonismyrealname
2 жыл бұрын
@@toziassmitt Which is the "balance." Sure, a +2 would be better when you're throwing a marshmallow at a cinderblock. But what if you've got a brick? A x2 might be better, because you might get two, might get three.
@toziassmitt
2 жыл бұрын
@@Skorpeonismyrealname in nearly all cases the +2 would be better. The majority of items they get to throw/use are not good- that’s by design. They always have about 2/3 really strong items, and the rest are difficult to use well. So basicaly everyone would use +2, except for when they get, javelin for example, and then it’s obvious to use the x2. This would be a dumb thing to implement imo
@Skorpeonismyrealname
Жыл бұрын
@@toziassmitt I mean, I'm not suggesting it becomes the new norm. Just one of those "I'm a hundred points behind, new rule so I can at least try to catch up" things
I have an idea for a “how many” episode. The thing you are throwing through can be anything (windows, mirrors, balloons, etc.) but you make a game out of the items you use. Have an editor write the ping pong balls for the items but make them some joke or reference to know which item you use. The person who draws the ball must then choose the item they think the ping pong ball corresponds to. They then smash the items and a score is counted behind the scenes by the editors. The catch is that your score goes up when you choose the right item, but goes down if you guess wrong. The item then goes back into the pile in case someone else thinks their ball uses that item. At the end, the editors reveal the pairs and then gives the final scores.
Also I loved all the extra banter and goofiness in this video. We don’t really care about the algorithm. We love watching you guys have fun together and love all the jokes and ideas you come up with!

Literally came to say this. Love watching you all be you, and loved the goof!! Your slowies and activities are cool, but you guys are what makes the vids. Can't wait to see more. :)
"It was the seams...but it was an exceptional shot." It seems that you like the element of chance with this format, but I'd love to see a whole video where you are all throwing/using the same items. Just to see how you compare on a more even playing field. Maybe introduce some chance--still with a bit of skill--by having a rock-off each round for the order, since seeing other attempts might change the strategy (a la Gaunson's bow shot).
2:09 class from editor Jack
I would love to see what goes into the behind the scenes work, like "yes hello, I would like to purchase 300 of your best exercise balls"
