Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Today the detailers discuss one of the most important, (But often overlooked) tools in a detailing arsenal: The towels!
For new detailers, it can be confusing knowing which towels to choose. (Let alone how many) But when you've got a job to do, having a collection that suits your needs will save you both time and money.
So what does your arsenal look like, and why did you choose those towels? Share in the comments!

After I really started getting into detailing my personal vehicles properly, I noticed I needed a ton more towels than I thought I would. And I like to designate specific towels for each task. 2 glass towels, 2 interior all purpose towels, 2 of the same type of all purpose towels for door jams, 4 for washing rims, one for drying rims, and then a bunch of old junky towels for the dirtiest parts of the car like the engine bay. For paint, I only use the best quality towels for removing polish and wax, and for that I have 3 towels, and about 4 towels for "quick detailing" tasks. I lost track but it's a lot lol. Thanks for sharing! I found out about you guys a few months ago on reddit and now I'm watching all your videos!

Sometimes I feel like I have my towel arsenal perfected, but then I realize I forgot to wash half my batch. This happens all the time. Personally, I need 3 dry me a river waffle weaves for drying, 3 edgeless 365 for interior, and 3 eagle edgeless for light wax removal. But again, this all varies because if I drop a towel, it's done. You can never be too prepared!

awesome video I love these vids that you guys do I would really find it beneficial if you did a video of organising microfiber towels and putting towels in colour order to know what job is for what purpose

Some of the towels come in multiple colors so that doesn't work out. What you should do is learn the DIFFERENCE between the towels and select a towel by blend, origin and price for a designated job. That would be the best way to organize your towels. This will differ for everyone because we are all not bound by the same purse strings.

I wash my wheels with the knobby wash mitt. Once they are washed, the only thing left to do is blow them dry, to which I use the Air Force Master Blaster. No towels ever touch my wheels.

I didnt even know about the wholesale site, thanks for the info! Surely going to buy a box instead of them seperately, when im going to buy microfibers next time. I were looking at buying roughly 50 eagles, so yeah not a bad deal using that site instead (only other option for me, is the UK version).

Exactly! But I'd rather just pay the few extra bucks to get the 100 towels, than buy 50 by the regular way.

The Rag Company at the minute my wheels are marked badly. They are soon going in for a refurb and I will need a much improved wheel regimen once it's done. For now though I'm not too fussed while they are marked badly.

***** Because Chemical Guy's towels can't hold a candle to the upper echelon of towels that The Rag Company offers. It's not even close to being a contest. If you knew the numbers behind the towels that you are buying from CG, then you would SEE just how inferior they are. Problem is, CG doesn't supply you with that information. The Rag Company does, which allows YOU to chose a towel based on not only the price, but also the blend, country of origin and construction. Those are VERY important things to consider when making an informed choice on the towels that you want to use, as well as what you want to use them for. Buying microfiber is more than just, "It feels good." The next time that you are on CG's site, look at what information they give you about each towel that they sell. Then look at The Rag Company's detailed description of each towel that they sell. No "mystery meat" when you deal with The Rag Company. It's time for you to take the red pill (think of the movie "The Matrix), so that you can find out just how deep the rabbit hole goes. :)

How much are the rag company towels and if they sell by bulk wich one do you recommend the most for everything on a vehicle or suv

  • @Junkman2008

***** First, you need to go visit their website at www.theragcompany.com. Everything you need to know about every towel they sell is on their website, which will tell you significantly more about their towels than I ever could. They also have a wholesale website at www.wholesalemicrofiber.company, where you can buy in bulk. Next, you need to actually watch THIS video if you have any questions on towel amounts. I don't understand how you would even have THAT question after watching this video. Different people have different needs and the amount of towels and which towels YOU need may differ from what I feel that I need. Last of all, you need to spend some time watching the videos that they have posted of me on their You Tube channel, where I talk about two of their most important towels (their drying and polish/wax removal towels), which they offer at various price points and quality. Then YOU can make an informed decision as to what to buy, how many to buy and how much it is going to cost you. The information you seek is all over their You Tube channel. All you have to do is spend the time watching their videos and taking notes. Their videos are not long by any stretch of the imagination so there's no reason you couldn't bing watch them with paper and pen in hand. Just keep in mind that different detailers like and use different things but one thing that we are all in agreement on is that there is only one place to get quality microfiber for less and THAT place is The Rag Company.
