I teared up when the octopus gave thanks to his helper. We must work harder to better understand the lifeforms we share our home with. And how important it is to respect them by preserving their habitats and needs.

Yes I completely agree. I found this from google.. They actually can smell and taste. That helps the octopus tell there's no snail inside this shell. Hundreds of suckers tasting and smelling, and flexible arms moving every which way, create a huge amount of information -- a lot for the octopus' central brain to process. So each arm has a mind of its own.

Doomed to eat them maybe. The poor guys would be scorched by the sun, harassed by ants and insects. Almost all except herbivores would see them as free protein and omega-3. There is a reason why they live in the sea, on land they have 0% chance, except for the shores where they jump out and run small distances to ambush crabs. But thats about it.

Makes me think about the conjoined twins whose brains are conjoined, and they can see out of each other's eyes. It's really fascinating to think about how more than one brain could work together "Krista and Tatiana Hogan are inseparable twins, both literally and metaphorically. The twins are joined at the head and their brains are connected by a thalamic bridge that gives them rare capabilities. They can access each other's feelings and even see through each other's eyes." -Google

Remora, they're the sharks or any giant fish minions. Their duty to always keep the master clean from any parasite, and they'll always earn some food from their master, from the debris while their master killing and eating others
