Whoever came up with the idea for the LTV was a genius! They solved vacation, weather and cash flow challenges for thousands over the years and fixed the budgets for each city/county/state participating.

I love your channel. It is my favorite for RV life. I am soon to retire. This is my dream. Thank you for the beautiful scenic and informative videos! Safe travels friend😊
Hey, Hey, It's RVerTV Russ taking us to the LTVA's. TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL 👍
I cannot see the attraction of camping in a barren, desert environment with dirt, gravel, scrub brush (and very little of that) along with hundreds of other campers as well as rattlesnakes and scorpions. My father enjoyed his retirement in Arizona and rv’ing in the Four Corners Region, but I never shared his fascination with the South West U.S. although I admit I like Prescott and Flagstaff, Arizona.

Chipmunks, hummingbirds, crazy aircraft from nearby base, rare rattlesnake sightings, great neighbors, gorgeous weather, outside everyday, spring wildflowers all colors, desert rain seeps out of ground for days, arroyos, pretty rocks and lots of happy dogs. Fantastic pizza. Excellent butcher and fresh produce.
Hey Russ! Thanks for the desert tour. That has to be a blast, riding those trails. Lots of RV units as far as you can see. Great views with your drone camera. We really appreciate your videos. Stay safe and enjoy!
Mom went out there after she retired and found a 1/2 oz gold nugget laying on top of the ground.

Yes there are nuggets all around quartzite. Just have to look.
Makes me really appreciate my home state of Arkansas! You just talked me out of ever going there. I guess it's good for those snow birds up north with freezing winter temps. I'll just go down to the Florida beaches for a week or two, then come home! Thanks

Arkansas is a beautiful state with so much to offer. I'm a northern neighbor from the Missouri Ozarks.
Wow, they have so much room out there, as compared to wadded up homes in town! No wonder so many people go there.
Most “SNOW BIRDS “ will head north in march or wherever! For the summer ! That’s the great thing about coyote camping you can get off from other campers if you choose !yea it’s cool when my husband was alive we use to winter out in the desert at Quartzite ! Loved ❤ it !
Great add, I am voting for Garvey !
Was hoping someone would do what you did. A non-hurried overview of what is going on in the LTVA's. Never heard of Quartzite until last week. Now I know what it is and what it looks like. You do quality work with a nice narrative. Thanks for your tour of this interesting area. It is not for everyone, but it is obviously for many.
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for the great drone shots. Beautiful Mountains scenery.
I like it, long term visitor area on a budget. I'm sure it has it's challenges but the price is right!

Many of those workers installing the electric lines are RVers. They work long days 6 days a week. They travel all over the USA. We had many stay with us last summer in the RV park in Utah where we were workamping. High paying job but stressful.
Wish I was there enjoying the great weather! Need that fancy rv yet!
CRAZY COLD WEATHER HERE HOUSTON, TEXAS..MISS ARIZONA!!
Love love to you Russ, thanks for the beautiful drive! I'd love to see Drone views of some of the 'serious' rains and the washes flooded. How often does that happen? 🐫🌊♥
Very nice ride.... thank you 😊.would be nice to sit out there in the sun. Even with my allergies. Little tired of shoveling snow. 😎

Being from NE Ohio my camping always had a motorcycle, tent, trees, and grass. I've toured the SW years ago and can't believe how much it's changed. I can understand the draw. Especially when I'm looking at snow and 15°. The early settlers and native Americans would really be surprised. Looking forward to the next episode. 👍👍5🏍🙋♂️
December and January are the months I binge theses desert camping videos. The SAD gets a hold of me big time up here in the PNW. Next year I hope to finally make the snowbird trip I've been planning over the last 5 years. Just been stuck rebuilding my old mobile home over finishing up my camper build. Gotta get her done this summer!

Wow. It looks like a great place for a vacation. I'll take my boat and the gulf of Mexico all the time.
Thanks for taking us around the desert Russ. Now I can see where those washes get their water from when it rains... such a huge area and all running into each other!
Watched them put one towers together, two guys on the rack , one working a giant boom, had the darn thing together in a couple of hours.
Thanks for the touring ! I’m just dreaming.
Enjoyed the ride way out yonder! Thanks for taking us along ✌️💛😊

Nice that it's finally warming up. Will be there next Tuesday after the big storm on Monday. Hope the 1/2" of rain doesn't washout any campers.
You almost had me convinced to NEVER go to Quartzsite, then you showed that you can actually get off to yourself. Maybe I will visit some day.
Lots room guys. Thanks
That's AWESOME to have power throughout the Desert. 👏👏👏

Not too bad for mid January. ❤
I wasn't looking for this video, but I ended up watching anyway. I am blown away that people would find camping out in the dry, dusty desert fun. Not one thing comes to my mind as why people find any part of this to be fun. 😅

Russ at rver tv, thanks for helping out Wondering Jeepsy with the medicine and stuff. I gave her my receipe on boiling a chicken in water for a while and debone it and put in some onions and carrots and a few halapeena peppers. Fatty chickens are good for this too and about three or four cut up hallipeeno peppers. Thanks for showing me around the desert there and the newer modifications taking place. I am trying to get wondering jeepsy to make up build up a smaller tear drop or a do it yourselfer over land trailer. She wont do it, just something for her to make up and then possibly sell latter on down the road. I have been enjoying one traveling all around too. Thanks again for helping out wondering jeepsy. Hello everybody from Wyoming. We moved from Phoenix to Wyoming. Off grid over here too. Lovin it.
WOW! i hope to be out there next year!
thanks mister
Great video! It’s almost like I was there!!!
Have family that goes there every year, snow birds is what they call them looks about right for this timeof year.
I’ve been part-time boondocking in my little Chinook for 18 years now, and it has become so BAD & congested.. I’m really ready to give it up. Van life movement has really undermined the idea of getting away from it all.

If you want to get away from it all why would you go to a LTVA? Acting like there is nowhere to camp in solitude is ridiculous.

@@straycat_420 - My only answer is we still need food, water, the ability to dump tanks, etc. I know I’ve questioned my sanity a few times when I calculated the time and money spent to and from my quiet remote private campsite, the gas alone would reach $100 each trip easily.
Wish I was there! ! ! !
