This is a series called Minecraft VVSauce where I explore random features of Minecraft. Not Minecraft, but the water rises or Minecraft Manhunt but a more research based series dedicated to over-answering questions you never asked.

    If you're going to create a black hole, I think you'd get better results switching from iron blocks to a heavier block (like gold). Since the goal is maximum density and no longer maximum blocks in one space, gold would be a better choice. This would allow you to fit more mass in one block thus greatly increasing density. Not sure whether it would be enough to make it even remotely feasible still, 54 million minecarts is a lot

  • @Z01Xy

    @Z01Xy

    Жыл бұрын

    netherite would be smarter because it has 36 gold per block instead of nine and 36 netherite (probably platinum in the real world) we can assume that the weight of gold in a block of netherite is 446.4kg and the weight of platinum is 4.3g (approximately) the weight of 1 netherite block is 450.7kg and a shulker box is 12168.9 kg and a chest/minecart chest is 328560.3kg which to 256 minecart chests and the one chest is 84439997.1kg or 84439.9971 metric tonnes. so yeah netherite is better than gold in mass.

    Technically, putting an enderchest in an enderchest creates an infinite loop, which makes a black hole instantly.

  • @omnitroph1501

    @omnitroph1501

    3 жыл бұрын

    Actually, the blocks in an enderchest aren't stored in the physical enderchest, but rather in a pocket dimension accessed by means of the enderchest. Therefore when an enderchest is mined, it does not containm the same items that are found when it is opened.

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@joshuaeng7396 It's confirmed by the gameplay. If the items were inside the enderchest in the same way that they are inside a normal chest, the items would drop when you break the enderchest. Additionally, a different enderchest would not contain the same items. For this reason, it is very clear that the items are not physically contained in the enderchest, but rather accessed through it. Some kind of pocket dimension is the most plausible theory that comes to mind.

  • @DoctorGrim456

    @@austinkentner1771 then it will be the same. You can put an ender chest in an ender chest and nothing will happen. You can put it into a shulker and you will still only end up with the regular amount of storage as filling a regular chest with full shulkers. Ender chests work on the basis that its a regular chest storage but it is magically linked to the same "chest space/inventory" or pocket dimensions which is unique to each player. Its functionality no different to a chest other than that its accessible via any ender chest

    longest answer (yes I copied this from wikipedia): 1 (one, unit, unity) is a number representing a single or the only entity. 1 is also a numerical digit and represents a single unit of counting or measurement. For example, a line segment of unit length is a line segment of length 1. In conventions of sign where zero is considered neither positive nor negative, 1 is the first and smallest positive integer.[1] It is also sometimes considered the first of the infinite sequence of natural numbers, followed by 2, although by other definitions 1 is the second natural number, following 0.

    Anvils are made from 31 ingots (3 blocks and 4 ingots) and they can stack up to 64, which means that: - a stack of anvils has 1,984 ingots in it - full shulker box has 53,564 ingots - and a chest filled with full shulker boxes has 1,446,336 ingots. If those ingots were crafted into bars, the total amount would be 3,356,896 bars per minecart, almost 3.5 times the amount compared to iron blocks. Correct me if I'm wrong (because I probably am)

    I think an ender chest would be extremely good for this because, like a chest, it can store shulker boxes, but, think about it. You store all you full shulker boxes in the ender chest, then, another person comes along and puts their full shulker boxes in it, then another person, then another, etc. You can hold thousands upon thousands of items in 1 block. Although there is probably a reason you can’t do this, I don’t know what that might be but this is just a suggestion. This is a cool idea and I hope you make tons more fun and interesting ideas like this!

    Some small problems with this: 1: Barrel is better than the chest, you can open it from any configuration unlike chests which can be blocked 2: Item frames will be outside the block so they don't count 3: I'm pretty sure the hitbox of a minecart is bigger than one block, at least horizontally, and visually it certainly is. Minecarts would also fall out of the block if there is nothing below it which again makes the setup 2 blocks minimum. Summon no AI baby piglins with gold in their inventories that are holding shulkers of iron bars to help mitigate the losses from this.

    I felt so smart when you brought up iron blocks to bars after I instantly thought of that when you said logs to planks counts as 4 blocks

    I love how the victory screen at the end is perfectly timed with the outro. Really satisfying xD
