I’ve kept homing pigeons since the 80’s. Before ANY releases (even 1 mile), your birds most be ranging during loft flights. That means flying for 1hr + and disappearing as a group (kit) from your site for long periods. This is common mistake amongst people who keep homers, so you’re not alone. Also don’t feed the night before or morning of a toss. Where are your white homers from? They look quality. Good luck! -Jon

Hi Sir, doesn't look like U R active any more but I still will give U some info to learn from!! I cant pick up on how many birds U raised and how many U bought. In flying pigeons if the bird or birds were not born in that loft or area they will, many times fly back to were they were born when released!! Good Luck

you could have stacked the crates upside down and put em all in the corner to make it less cramped but i like where you are going with this

It was the sun set, You must release the pigeon in the morning. And the pigeons needs very good care before tossing them.

Hi Your coop is too small so you need to make all the Breeding boxes to the left side So they have space to fly up-and-down without hurting their wings This way your coop is not crowded

Sorry about the loss of birds bro but I’m glad you’re looking at it in a positive light. That being said, I thought I’d throw in a quick suggestion for breeding. Instead of the hay, I believe a better alternative would be pine needles that you can pick up anywhere where you have pine trees. (Obviously) Hay is great but I heard it attracts fleas and mites which are a big nuisance in this hobby.

You also have perches above your nest boxes,, So the birds above could leave their droppings on top of your young one's,,

Gonna have to put some cover over the tops of the best boxes so poop doesn’t fall down on the birds besides that great video!

Do you own that skyscraper or do you have to make a deal with a landlord to build a loft up in there?

You should have placed the nest boxes higher so that the pigeons can't poop into the nests from above. I would have left the seats below and removed them from the top and swapped them with the nest boxes.

I just want to say that You shouldn't have to starve em... Totally... Just teese them... From that You can tell... And. Not only on toss up days, but everyday, and see what should happen... Toss em everyday from anywhere... Near... Far. There's more I can say...Later S

Are you the guy who let your pigeons go when there was snow on the ground,, Because there doesn't look like you have any snow now" If so that's why you had bad returns, Everything looks different to the birds when it's all covered with snow,, They rely on land marks to home as well as the sun and the earth's magnetic fields,
