I like the recap questions- I too am a dentist avoider…. Seems to be a very common fear. I had a serious horse accident which messed up my nerves in the right side of my face… so it can be real tricky to get me numb… Maybe an Icecream video or water craft or…. Something similar while it is soooo hot… By the way our low at night 70-75- with 70% humidity 🤪 it definitely helps if it gets cooler at night because then I can be outside at daybreak and get some stuff done but right now- there really is no good time to work outside. Like you said every place has its own challenges. 😊

Ok, Laura, I’m gonna help you out here. 😂 The reason people are so bizarre on the internet (i.e. new shoes = pregnant) is because narcissism is rampant in epidemic proportions these days. These people are so proud of themselves because they watch every day and noticed something new so they MUST rush to the keyboard and comment section to passively “brag” that they noticed something that nobody else noticed because they see themselves as special and your biggest fan. 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m not sure where the narcissist thing actually came from, but Oh M’Gosh … it’s SO exhausting. Just keep on doing what you do. We love watching you and your garden and it was a lovely video seeing you and Aaron working together. Have a super great week, and don’t worry about the weirdos. 😉

Our summer last year in Austin was in the 100’s every single day the entire summer with not a drop of rain. It was extremely miserable. It didn’t get below 80 degrees at night. We had a big storm that brought wonderful rain and it was 72 degrees at 4pm yesterday. I went to Home Depot to get compost and got soaking wet it was so much fun I felt like a teenager. ( 65yo)

I got Captain Jack’s insecticidal soap to try and as I was spraying my plants last night the beetles were flying off. There were loads of them. This way I get a chance to get those questions answered too! Also, welcome to my world with the bunnies. I thought they were so cute in the beginning (still do) but now they terrorize my dogs so much that one of them needs medication to stay calm. I "test drive" plants before I even take them out of the pots to see if the bunnies will eat them. I only plant edibles in raised beds and sometimes I have to put up fences around them. I am currently having several teeth capped due to the "trauma" from a offset bite. The dentist told me I have a "traumatic mouth." 😜 Jeeze louise. I wish I had taken care of this before some of my teeth started to develop fractures. Try that sedation dentistry. I also am terrified of the dentist. Aaron as an artist I definitely know the difference in blue and purple but since there are so few true blue flowers and I’m sure among those blue flowers some are too small to make a huge compact and then others might be more of a spring flower and not one tgat enjoys hot summer heat- like for instance a beautiful blue hydrangea - in dry hot heat- Yikes! Then there is that beautiful blue morning glory but by the second year you are out there with a whip and a chair to beat it back where it is supposed to be and third year you find it has surrounded all door and window opening and can’t leave your house. So better we call purple petunias blue and continue to be able to get out of your house.

I love all the beautiful things planted during the week, my “me time” is coffee and Garden Answer in the mornings, but these recap videos have me laughing out loud and have become my favorite! Love the added questions, anything to extend it, as you all are such a joy 🥰 Sundays are for Jesus and this weeks recap video 🙌😘 Thank you for sharing 😍

Same here, Laura.... I go to a sedation dentist. The numbing shots have no effect on me. My dentist would even give me the shots ahead of time, while i was waiting for my appointment in the waiting room just to test if it needed more time, but nope. So he now puts me out and i have no issues going to the dentist anymore 👍🏼

Same problem here. I ask for surgical grade numbing which works. “Marcain” is what it is called in Canada and it lasts for 8 hours (wear a bib while you eat)😂. Not all dentists will do it.

Laughing gas is also very affective and easily controlled. I had a dental trauma years ago, and ever since I fear dental work. Now I get the laughing gas ie Nitrous oxide. No it doesn’t make you laugh. Lol.

Myself, I can't stand the numbing feeling or the lingering pain from the shots. I'd much rather go without. I just tell the dentist to go ahead and do the work.

Good morning! Lol, one day of 112° I'm in Chandler Heights Citrus, AZ and wish we only had one day of 112° in Zone 9B. I'm getting ready to plant various pumpkin seeds, and I believe I'm a month behind, but doing better than last year 😅 Well, it's 430am and im getting ready to start my watering. I have had to dig up all my veggies, mainly peppers and pot the. I need to redo my garden & I'm going lay down hardware cloth, reinstall my raised gardens, refill them during my summer due to the dreaded gophers here. All this, so i can get ready for my fall gardening. Awh, the joys of growing.😅

When I saw your bunny I thought, oh no, you are in trouble! I'm in a suburb 20 minutes from Chicago. I had them nesting in the middle of my garden, biting the tips off my emerging bulbs but then not eating them. See if you can encourage the cute bunny to find a new home before you start buying chicken wire, like I did.

QUESTION: I’ve often wondered if you notify those that ask questions in your videos to tune in to the recap that their question was chosen to be answered. I’ve never heard you talk about the recap channel and to tune in there for answers to questions. I wonder how new viewers know about the channel. Just curious. Love ❤ your videos and have learned so much from you, Laura! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!!

I have a suggestion for a true BLUE flower for Aaron. It’s called the Corydalis flexuosa ‘Pocelain Blue’. Cold hardy to zone 5. Grows 12 inches tall and wide. Part sun/shade, although probably shade for you guys. The best part is the beautiful fragrance of honeysuckle that just one plant provides.

When I saw that bunny, 🐰 I thought, okay here we go. Laura is going to find out what it’s like to have rabbit pressure on her garden! They are really cute, but such a pain! They loose their appeal the first time they eat your plants! It peeves me, too, when purple flowers are labeled as blue. Especially things like irises - when the pictures on the label itself looks blue. Then when they bloom, they are actually straight purple!

Bunny lost their appeal when the ate the wiring under my car. Live in Arizona so maybe the heat makes them seek shade under cars and then they see wires and think “snack” idk but it cost me thousands and my Pacifica was never the same

Well our Southern hot is 100+ and 75% humidity. I've been too Arizona and Nevada. (Im from California) I prefer that heat versus sticky, humid, Southern heat. In Georgia it's intense. Which this weather reminds me of El Salvador weather like in Central America. Except people there don't have A/C. We do. They only have fans. I follow a couple living in Alaska and they can only garden for 4 months. The rest of the time, they are buried in snow. We all try to garden our lovely plants. For the love of plants eh. 😊
