My philosophy is that we shoot for enjoyment and the enjoyment of the gear,not because we have to.Therefore it’s up to the person how much equipment he/she buys. Never mind what anyone tells you,just get what YOU want and what makes you happy.

Most rifles I've ever owned was 11 powder burners and a black powder pistol and the only reason I didn't have more is I had no room in my gun cabinet 😅, but now I only own 4 air rifles ,a old Comita 22 , some cheap 177 from my dad and new HW97K and tge Vixen and a Bretta Co2 in 177 ,never have enough guns m8😊

It's an addiction I have 18 air rifles and a 30 caliber western sidewinder mini on order, over $35000 addition ,I just cant stop buying them.

If you have the budget for it why not I say! Do what makes you happy I say, we can spend our money on a lot worse things than these can’t we!

I've got 10 myself but generally use my Vixen and S510R U/S mostly. I love all of them and wouldn't sell any. Have as many as you want but don't skint yourself out at the expense of other things . I always buy new for the point you made about how the previous owner treated the item. I guess you only really 'need' one though..

Have 6 , 4 springers 2 pcp but it’s one in one out now

I also have bought to many compressors to I have 7 compressors just bought gx cx4 and the gx cordless .

I think shooting is like fishing, one for each discipline and then different calibres 🤣 I know someone with about 100 rifles 97 0f them being springers.... myself I currently have 5 but that will soon be 4.. Vixen short .177 Edgun lelya .22 RTI Prophet p3 compact .22 and a .25 barrel AGT Vulcan v2 laminate .177 Tx 200 .22 The Vulcan will be going possibly with the tx as I want P3 Standard 👍🏼 Edgun lelya, matador R5m are both great but the Leshy 2 pile of turd I bought one brand new and it was a pain for 4 weeks with problem after problem... then sent it back for a Huben K1 that I just traded not to long ago...I agree if it has CZ barrel and its from the eastern block it's generally great!

In the past had up to ten airguns at a time, I'm now down to three, two pcp daystate revere 177,fx DRS in 22 and one vintage BSA Lincoln jeffyries what was left to me in a will and will stay with me "sentimental" ,if I was to get another PCP one would have to go, two is plenty for me, would like a AA pro sport or a TX 200 but will have to be second hand and in fine fettle, and the Pcp that i would get next would be the Vixen and the DRS would have to go..

Hi uncle Bob Would love to see that old BSA I love the old springers wish I still had all mine I owned in the past! I’m doing a side by side video soon with a .117 vixen that’s ratworks tuned! owned by my bro against my .22 vixen orange mod tuned I think he’s put about 200 pellets through it since new and will be surplus to requirements soon.

@@unclebob8139 I think the DRS is great when it’s all working fine but I wouldn’t be confident owning one due to reliability issues but when they’re good there v good like all FX. I’ve owned a few and both were terrible for me but the at was about 8 years ago so maybe they’ve got better? Personally I have no desire to ever go near the brand again!

Golfers don't have one or two clubs lots of guns do different functions for me ie three different calibers and that's not all that's available but but for me .177 .22 and .25 fac is perfect but like most men new toys well they're not toys but you know what I mean if you have a use for them and you're safe (most important) and you can afford them why not?

im looking to buy a new air rifle and the vixen ticks all the boxes for me . unsure which to get .177 or .22 , long or short ... heard the short has quite a noise to it aswell . really need to have a go of both to decide . its hard to choose a airrifle when the selection is so big

How about around 40? seriously i would have to count them, I don't smoke gamble or visit the pubs, house paid for😅,most i have paid is 2500 for Steyr self indexing hunting 5, all are English German or Czech, apart from 2 Zbrioas. Yeah I'm bloody mad i guess. If you ever down Swansea way you welcome for a look around.

I've been collecting air guns for over twenty five years BSA Webley theoben weirhauch and my personal collection is over two hundred and I'm still collecting. This weekend I'm picking up my new BSA take down rifle for the collection.

I have a the vixen short in 177 And hw100kt in.22. I find my self using the vixen more becouse ov the weight difrence and the straighter flight trajectory. Appoligies for the spelling not my strongest point 😂

Both equally brilliant in my humble opinion both laser accurate it comes down to preferences and aesthetics I think! I own a vixen and hope to be getting A HW 100 Ltd edition. I think the vixen gets it because of shot count the hw shot count isn’t great and renound for it as most people change the cylinder.

Let’s be honest in sub 12 there all the same power it boils down to aesthetics I’m guilty of that too we all look for excuses to change guns I sold a brk ghost because the cocking lever had to much up and down movement and the trigger too much side to side yet it shot Zan 13 g slugs all day clover leaf groups at 45 yds should I off got rid of it!!nearly bought a Daystate revere safari edition but in the shop when I felt the stock it was just plastic with that finger tip scratchy cheap plastic the list goes on but it’s down to aesthetics and wanting to have the latest gun out.

Hi Andy yes I agree about the sub 12 point you’ve made! I have a DHR in safari and my stock is wood and absolutely lovely to feel! I wonder if they’ve changed the stock? Mine is a 2022 rifle. That’s a shame you didn’t buy it as I love mine and it’s laser accurate in .177.

Hi Stephen, I’ll be trying both but yes I’m swaying more to the HW100 but want that grey laminated edition if I can get my eager hands on one? Thanks for your input mate.

If you have 1 that doesn't get used then that's maybe 1 too many ?..1pcp+1springer in each calibre would do me ..but my top 3 I'd love to own are all springers so I'm throwing out that theory 😅

@Ratsinthereticles would love to see that..yeah a tx200, hw97,and hw35 is my dream line up ,at the moment I've 1 and a half rifles as my 99 is on semi permanent loan to a mate to keep on top of his pests
