There is a huge jealousy (racism) against Luka, he's been too successful already, and this isn't new, the evidences had been surfacing since several years ago, and increasing rapidly along with greater success from Luka Dincic. The 73 points just made an explosion of a bomb that had been ticking for a long time. The other part is the referees on each game Luka and the Mavs are playing , it's becoming evident too me that they are allowing overaggressive playing from the other teams against Mavs, and specially against Luka, therefore the bad situation with injuries.

the defense was as good as any other teams, watch the game before talking. They doubled and tripled on Luka and he still did that. Every team in the nba tries to create schemes to stop Doncic, they just dont work.

Compare Luka's first 6 years with Magic's and oh year Magic had how many HOF players with him. Oh Magic was really that bad of a three point shooter, really at 6'9 that's all the rebounds he got, nah with those players around him surely he had way more assist than that. Personally think M. Johnson was the best point guard to play the game. But give Luka those kind of players around him and another 10 years at the level he's playing at now, then we will have to check it out. Both generational players.

the answer is obvious. the hawks defense probably was poor....but it doesnt matter. Any time any player is allowed to score 60 points plus, then you can guarantee the defense was poorer. Same as bryant's 81, Jordan's 69 etc etc. We know this to be true because these marquee players average , like, 30 points. it was a fantastic performance by Luka, when given the opportunity, he capitalised. You will probably find that the *best*, most efficient performances are games when they score 45 points and win games.

That Smith is ridiculous. First he said he didn't see anything special on Luka when he was drafted, then Luka won the Rookie of the Year. Now this.
