How long should you stay at your job? | Why I Quit

I quit my consulting job after learning 5 lessons that made me realize the salary wasn't worth the job. This was my first job out of school and I really thought getting a good job was everything. This experience made me realize that I no longer wanted to be a consultant and pushed me to pursue a career change which is what started my data analyst career. Watch this video for signs of when it's time to quit and to see the reasons why I decided to ultimately end my consulting career.

But having been a manager of data analytics and now a senior business intelligence engineer at Amazon, I've learned a lot and I'm excited to use my experiences to help you navigate your career path. Thank you for your video, Agatha! I'm currently trapped in a job, and I'm studying Data Analytics on my own, but because I've been trapped in this job for 7 years, I think I have burnout so sometimes it's REALLY hard to find motivation to study! But with that being said, I will do my best to complete my goal, so thank you for being there! :)

Good thing I have set barriers to protect myself from burning out. Me skilling up truly helped me learn how to learn effectively, and working smarter saves time for myself and mentoring deserving people in my space. Thanks for the video Agatha😊

Great video and thank you for sharing your life and valuable lessons that you have learned! I would recommend you look into the "Self-determination theory" as I think you touch on the subject theory that it tries to explain.

Agatha I recently found your channel and instantly subscribed. I'm a successful automotive professional with a young family and my work life balance is non-existent. I've been looking closely at data analytics and during my research came across this... I am going to pursue the career through learning and acquiring skills. Love your channel as inspiration,

I use to work 70 hour a week n I still don’t make nearly close to 100k n that when I realized it’s not worth slaving off for so little pay.

Interesting perspective. Teachers also have to work those hours but without six figure salary. Plus there is sometimes work on weekends. Its a work 24/7 and they have to be multitalented, not only know one thing.
