HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE DEER TO GET USE TO A FEEDER? Banks outdoor 300 lb gravity feeder review.

In this video you will see me installing a Banks Outdoor Gravity Feeder that holds 300 pounds of feed. Followed by how long it took the deer to get use to it. I explain the correct height at which you want your feeder ports to be and how long it took the deer in my area to start eating from it. The tree we cut down to use as the feeder post is an invasive species called Ailanthus Altissima or also known as Tree of Heaven which needs to be removed off my property so, win win for me! Remember to check your state hunting regulations before installing a feeder to make sure you're not breaking any hunting laws.

Seems like an easy, straight forward unit to install. It was very interesting to see how long it took the deer to find the feeder vs eat from the feeder. Another great video!

Install was a piece of cake! I, like you was most interested in seeing how long it took for them to feed from it! I honestly thought it would have taken them longer to trust it. BUT well see how long it takes them to use in during the daylight hours.

No feeding during season up here in Maine. But that would be handy to help the deer during winter times.

Hey David, I have had a ton of action from this feeder. I killed my buck this year about 300 yards away from the feeder but I have tons and tons of videos of bucks eating from it. You don't need the feeder just pour the corn out on the ground. 😊
Shouldn't put sticks in the sleeve, its designed to move. Makes it hard for animals to climb.
