How Long Did Each Assassin Live For In Assassin’s Creed

Ойындар

The protagonists in the Assassin’s Creed game are often linked with a lot of danger, leading a lot of people to think they live relatively short lives. I mean with how much fighting they do and how many templar lives they take, it’s not really much of a shock to think that. However, the reality is actually pretty surprising. So that’s what I want to go over in this video.

Assassin's Creed is an open-world, action-adventure, and stealth game franchise published by Ubisoft and developed mainly by its studio Ubisoft Montreal using the game engine Anvil and its more advanced derivatives. Created by Patrice Désilets, Jade Raymond, and Corey May, the Assassin's Creed video game series depicts a fictional millennia-old struggle between the Order of Assassins, who fight for peace and free will, and the Knights Templar, who desire peace through order and control. The series features historical fiction, science fiction, and fictional characters intertwined with real-world historical events and historical figures. In most games, players control a historical Assassin while also playing as an Assassin Initiate or someone caught in the Assassin-Templar conflict in the present-day framing story. Considered a spiritual successor to the Prince of Persia series, Assassin's Creed took inspiration from the novel Alamut by the Slovenian writer Vladimir Bartol, based on the historical Hashashin sect of the medieval Middle East.

Kassandra was born in 458 BC, and the canon time for the ending of Odyssey is 422 BC. (the whole game story stretches for several years, including the main plot, the Atlantis stuff, Cult of Kosmos hunt and the Legacy of the First Blade DLC.) So I'd safely say she was 36 years old when she got the staff, and biologically she was "locked" in a 36 years old body for over 2400 years.

Altair lived the coolest life in my opinion. sure guy's life was miserable, he suffered from such a young age, lost so many of his loved ones. But he also shaped the Brotherhood, created an benchmark for future generations. And when he thought he has done everything, he simply died in a locked chamber. He died by his own choice rather than being killed or backstabbed by someone else (like other characters in the series) how cool is that

Honestly Arno not killing Shay (father's killer) or even trying to find out, always seemed like a miss opportunity to me. it could've turned into a great dynamic, him finding out Shay years latter. Like there is like enough space in Arno's lore on which you can even make another game.. same with Conner Kenway. but i guess its another great story point that Ubisoft completely abandoned

Arno's baffling story is why there's been a theory for years that Unity was originally concepted as Connor's sequel. Nothing has come of this theory to confirm or deny it, but the fact Connor, Shay, and Arno, all overlap in locations and characters they meet, but have all never met each other is just extremely bad writing. Even if Unity was always going to be Arno's story, the fact Connor isn't there to avenge the fallen American Brotherhood with Arno's help is just a huge missed opportunity. Hell, don't even need it to be Connor. Even Aveline appearing in Paris _sent_ by Connor would have been interesting. Lame of course since Connor is cooler, but certainly interesting.

Kasandra probably knocked down any statues of herself or made deals with people to not represent her or she would kill them. In her line of work reconization is a horrible thing. People start hunting her for what she got, means she has to stop doing her job and go kill a shit ton of people to make them stop talking about her. Evior and basim on the other hand are a different story as both were very influential. Atleast with evior if hathem doesn’t tell the brotherhood nobody would know he was even trained. Basim on the other hand was extremely well known and unlike everyone else we haven’t actually got to play let alone see his biggest achievements besides merage and Valhalla. the dude was huge during the fall of the kalifet and the brother revolution (set up to the fall of the golden age of the Muslims) he prity much controlled the whole southern Mediterranean till he dipped off to England. Then again he was also a deserter (technically) and a sage so they probably didn’t want to go talking about him. Also etzios family room doesn’t hold everyone just people who did big time kills. None of those above did big time kills. For their country yes. For the world no. Most protagonists don’t get that achievement. Hell the side characters assassins have more big name kills to their name then our mains. Only real exception is etzio (technically didn’t get Borgia wich would have been his big name) and altier (who also doesn’t get his as Tula did) plus aya who dos and we do get to play as during it but she’s a side character.

Yeah like the other guy said, the Unity novel covers Jennifer near the end of her life. Elise runs off to London at one point and she meets Jennifer at the Kenway Manor. Jennifer has grown old and bitter about the Assassin and Templar conflict, being a staunchly neutral party who wishes she was simply a non-party but Assassins and Templars keep bothering her because of her father's and brother's relationship to her. She laments even that her brother was killed by his own son because of the conflict. So what happened to her? She lived on. She didn't want to be part of the story but she has to be, because of her family. It's somewhat meta that she just wants to be left out of the story, but because of her family, templars, assassins, _and fans of the series_ keep "bothering her" and bringing her back into focus lol. I think the point is that she's not a character, she's a prop people keep pretending is a character.

I think the reason why edward died so young is because he is an afterthought character. After making ac3, somehow ubisoft thought that the idea of a pirate assassin would be fun so they make him playable. Since edward's fate is already sealed in ac3, I would say If edward was "created" before connor, he would have lived longer.

Kassandra’s age should be considered by her biological and experienced ages. Biological she hit a stasis upon receiving the staff, experienced is when she spent centuries functionally as an immortal. Without checking dates I’d say she was in her mid to late twenties when receiving the staff, locking her into that age physically, Rather than the act of passing on the staff inherently being fatal, it locks the body into the physical state including preventing ageing and protecting from radiation. So like a Shroud of Eden. Pythagoras and Kassandra were a long time past their natural life spans, so passing it on did mean death and Layla lost its protection against radiation in the Yggdrasil facility, where it restores Basim’s body to living condition.

Ik it’s said Connor was 4 or 5 when we first play as him but there’s physically no way for me and most others seem to think he’s more along the age of 8-10 years old. Then when Connor meets Achilles it’s said he’s 13 there’s no way he’s 13 goin to meet Achilles 1 connors way too tall to be 13 no thirteen year old is already the size of a full grown man 2 connors voice his voice at the time of when he was “13” he has the voice of a 19 or 20 year old no way a 13 year old would be soundin like a grown ass man. 3 and the reason Connor wasn’t a preteen when he met Achilles Connors clan mother wouldn’t let a 13 year old to up and leave their clan or tribe. And the 4th and final reason connors not 13 is if Connor was 13 Achilles wouldve never trained Connor no one would train a child to be a killer or an assassin it’s more likely that if Connor was 16 or 17 he’d train him then takes like a year or 2 for Connor to get his robes and starts takin down the templars makin Connor around the age of 29-30 when he assonates his father Haytham and Charles lee . Ik this comment is long af but here’s my opinion on the mystery of connors actual age in ac3 hell I could be wrong idk but also ubi could’ve made a few mistakes when writin the timeline of Connors story either way I enjoyed ac3 I wish I still had it to this day but I don’t but fortunately 4 days ago I bought the ezio trilogy and I’m able to finally play ac 2 for the first time it’s so weird playin an ole school ac game for at least 7 years I’ve played all except syndicate that’s my next goal but idk if it’s one xb1 or not and I haven’t seen it in any stores or anywhere

I feel like some died around 60 because considering the time of each period, dying at 60-70 seemed pretty common, cause of the time period. Had no cures for diseases, medicine for wounds/infections... So they prob took some realism with the games as well. But thats just an idea/opinion

Strange that ubisoft decided to found the hidden ones in the Origins game while they have Iltani as an already established character who's story takes place 200+ years before Origins.

Yeah thinking about which age is old enough to be ok to pass away is pretty scary 😅 one thing you should not forget is that the average life expectancy increased heavily over the last centuries and it depended on the place you lived in. In the 16th century the average life expectancy was 32 years approximately while it is at 72 years across the globe.

Edward doed in his 49a whoch is sad but if you remeber he promised caroline he would only be a privateer for 2 years so he did his best for 2 years clearing a legendary ship like it were nothing but when he retired he left that life behind him and as a result ended up killing him Also its key to remeber AC 4 and rogers/ The Seige was constantly saying a short life and merry one which is literally the purates code so id understand how edward had a fitting death short but full of adventure

I get that all of this is opinionated and subjective and I respect everyone's opinion. I just don't understand the disrespect Valhalla gets from the majority of the AC fanbase. I understand Eivor is not an assassin, but in my opinion, Valhalla is the best game in the franchise. The fact that u get to play as Odin and u witness the stories of Loki, freiya, and a lot of other members of Norse mythology is awesome. I also think that playing with the Male version of Eivor makes things a lot more realistic too.
