How Long Blues - Jimmy Yancey
You can find the sheet music for this arrangement at kristianolsen.o....
This is my rendition of Jimmy Yancey’s “How Long Blues,” based on the 1943 recording from his "Complete Recorded Works (1939-1950), Vol. 2" on Document Records (Track 16, Alternate Take). Yancey recorded the piece several times, but this one is my favorite. It can be heard at • Jimmy Yancey - How Lon... .
I don’t play the piece exactly like Yancey, preferring instead to mix a few of Yancey’s verses with some improvisation that (hopefully) remains faithful to the overall style and feel of Yancey’s masterful original recording.

Sweet ! Blues is so nice when played slowly with elegance. You remind me a bit of Christian Fuchs, FROM BERLIN ! He also posts a lot on KZread. Thanks for sharing the sheet music, I'll use it for sure

Beautifully played, Kristian, something for me to try and emulate. I'll definitely come up short but maybe the resulting work will still be satisfactory. All the best.

Is this a digital keyboard? It sounds so nice. Also do you have any tips on. Playing thrills in tempo. IT always feels like the moment I add it I also my hand independence

Yep, it's a digital. Not sure I have any great advice about trills other than to go slow at first and keep at it.
Hi, nice interpretation. But the link to the sheet music does not work.
