I am more worried about the backroom staff more than replacing Klopp. We had a world class coaching team and replacing multiple positions with world class coaches is impossible to do.

Slot will be bringing his own backroom team. Negotiating the appripriate compensation for them has been highlighted by several publications as one of the reasons why it took so long to confirm Slot's appointment officially (that and being respectful to Feyernoord, Liverpool, & Klopp)

@@Therealscousedancer That worries me more because the feyenoord staff are not world class and we could have the same problems as Man Utd where they brought in Ten Haag’s staff and they were not premier league quality

@@Delboy0 - Give them a chance, because don't forget Pep Lijnders is also a product of the league you seem to think so inferior. So are Virgil Van Dijk, Cody Gakpo, & Ryan Gravenberch. Point is, we don't know how good they all are. So how about reserving judgement till there's proof? Our coaching staff have been world class but for all that class, we're repeatedly suffered muscle injuries in key areas over and over again. Its something Slot is reportedly concerned over given the intense, high energy style of play he favours. So for all that class, the current coaching staff never solved that issue, so for me, thats a key metric I'll be interested in seeing how the new coaches deal with & hopefully solve. Give the new coaches a chance - like I said, no one knows how they'll adapt & comparing them to Ten Hag's isn't a fair comparison as (1) Ten Hag picked them, so if you don't rate him as manager, stands to reason they'll not be much good either and (2) I'm not sure Ten Hag is the problem - United have had several high profile (& by reputation) quality managers before him & all have failed too. For me that says the squad & culture at United is the problem, not Ten Hag. His Ajax side that went out to Spurs in the 2018/19 Champions League were terrific

They will all be missed, changed the whole ethos and brought winning mentality at the club. Hopefully momentum carries on and win bigger trophies next season
