About Tekken (source Wikipedia):
Tekken (Japanese: 鉄拳, "Iron Fist") is a Japanese media franchise centered on a series of fighting video and arcade games developed by Bandai Namco Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
Players can choose from a diverse cast that hails from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and fighting styles. A few characters have supernatural origin, such as, Alisa Bosconovitch, Angel, Mokujin, Ogre and Azazel, while animal characters like Kuma, Panda, the Roger family, and Alex provide comic relief. In the story mode of the game, each character generally has their own personal reasons for entering the tournament and competing for the prize.
The protagonist of the series has varied between installments; the character ending of each canon game determines the protagonist of each. Kazuya Mishima was the protagonist in the original game and Tekken 7, his father Heihachi Mishima was the protagonist of Tekken 2 and Tekken 6, and Jin Kazama has been the central protagonist since his debut in Tekken 3. The conflict between the Mishima family within multiple generations serves as the main conflict to the series' plot according to Katsuhiro Harada who describes it as a simple struggle. Although Lars Alexandersson among other characters are not fully related to them, they serve as major characters within Tekken 6 where Jin serves as the main antagonist instead of his relatives.
About the character Sergei Dragonov: (source Wikia):
Sergei Dragunov (Japanese: セルゲイ・ドラグノフ, Russian: Сергей Драгунов) is a Russian Spetsnaz soldier who practices Sambo. Dragunov shares a rivalry with Raven that includes having inflicted his facial scar. Save for battle grunts, the character has no dialogue in any of his in-game appearances.

Thanks for doing this. I main Dragunov and watched Khabib, so I've long been curious.
I’ve never realized how many of the moves in tekken are basically life/career enders. Seeing how far dragonuv pulled that leg compared to how quickly Logan tapped. Makes you realize how brutal the game is even without gore

@@SeanTheShinigami that's not really surprising, it's just when you realize these moves could kill/knock out someone in one move yet seeing the Tekken fighters get back up looking unfazed is amazing, even if it's just a game.

You guys should breakdown some more of Dragonouv's throws and submissions. He's just brutal.
Tekken franchise started off as a more realistic take of fighting games (context: in the 1990s, compared to games like Street Fighter). So yeah it had incorporated many legit techniques and concepts, they even introduced switching stances in-fight. It's just that through decades it had gone to the path of RE5 Chris Boulderfield where it has become borderline superhero fighting game with martial arts elements. It is funny that the developer actually researched tons legit fighting techniques to be used in a world where japanese gargoyle clan members shoot laser and survive a fall into volcano crater.

You guys should find someone with a TKD background to breakdown some of the moves from Hwowrang or Baek's move sets.

If they can get a kickboxer that has deep knowledge striking (TKD, Boxing, Muay Thai, Karate, and/or maybe Savate) since Chad is more of a submission expert (yeah he's great at striking too so he needs to share his role dammit he's talented) and having more in depth breakdown on every part of martial art, hopefully including a gun expert as well? Striking, takedown, submission, weapons, firearms.

Love it, dragonov is by far my fav character. Well balanced with good combos that lead into one another.
Sergei dragunov is my favorite character in tekken I actually do use some of his moves in real life but tekken is surprisingly legit
Now that Tekken is on the menu, this opens potential for tons of breakdowns. I'd love to see breakdowns for Miguel (total civilian street style), Asuka (modified aikido), and Kunimitsu (knives and ninja bullshit)
Did you account for the fact that your opponent has 3 inch fangs in your breakdown? However i am really impressed by how detailed Tekken is!

That moment you know Sergei Dragunov is very dangerous because is one of the only moves that is even dangerous by practicing it
I love this shorts videos because full video breakdown takes time to make and making sure the video have enough details but in shorts you can make any kind of videos for just one particular detail which can expand to anime, video games and, movies. Keep it up Scenic Fights!!!

That last one remind me of a fight scene in Pacific Rim between Raleigh and Chuck. That "apologize to her" scene is so badass that I keep repeating it until now when I need to find an amusement. 😎

You should break down some moves from the Yakuza series. Tanimura and Tatsuo have some neat grappling moves while Kiryu and Akiyama have some cool striking moves.

@@ScenicFights IMO, Yakuza 0 and Yakuza 5 have some damn good combat. Yakuza 4 is where Tanimura is from (he's a Taihojutsu user) and Yakuza 5 has Shinada who has a more personal grappling style. Kiryu's fighting style has a lot of strikes but a lot of neat grappling counters and takedowns.

I just found this channel and I'm not sure if it's been requested before but I would LOVE to see you all look at the fist fight between Inosuke and Tanjiro in Season 1 Episode 14 of Demon Slayer. I've always wondered if Inosuke's moves had any basis in real Martial Arts.

I see the moves in tekken and know these moves would end the fight asap, but watching you guys demonstrate and how quickly he taps made me realise how overkill these moves truely are haha. It is a game tho so i wouldnt have it any other way
