Riot: revive is strong af. Lets take it out from aatrox kit. Also riot: lets make a champion that can revive an entire team and another champion that can delay your death and if you score a takedown you don't die.

@@jesusmascorro6175 i like that they made it more accessible tbh. Having it exclusively for one champion is when it becomes an issue. Especially on a bruiser with high health, damage, and healing like Aatrox. And Akshan’s is dumb in how he’s an adc who can be in a solo lane and is one of the tankiest adcs.

A conditional revive that is single target is a lot better than than a full team revive late game her revive works just like a heal or shield that keeps a carry alive

My main problem with her revive is it's not a revive, they just don't die, so anything working with killing doesn't work, urgot ult? tough luck, you wanted triumph heal, hell naw, gold? naah.

@@kindrogue5586 you don’t get that with ga or zilean ult also any overkill dmg is transferred over and seeing as how most assassins have the dmg to kill a target 2-3 times while even at times it’s only good if you have a guaranteed kill in under a second Another thing to consider is that a traditional enchanter has enough healing and/or shielding to do the same thing without conditions karma soraka and lulu will be able to keep a carry alive far longer than a single revive can

@@raithdoom the issue is it's not creative and is a very frustrating mechanic, and also it's just stupid to put revives on basic spells. it's clearly too game changing to not be on an ultimate spell. but i'm not surprised at this point, riot has been extremely uncreative in their kits besides maybe aphelios being the last one

This video makes me realize that Renata fixes the bad positioning of your team, and instead of being a disadvantage, she makes the bad positioning an advantage

It doesn´t matter how useless you were in the game after minute 30 any Ult you hit with Renata is Game winning. What´s better than cc on enemies? A cc that makes them damage each other

@@pittayayas it also helps to shatter crown on mages before your team does dmg, make your opponents waste the ruined king passive on themselves, ashe slow their own team, etc

One thing to realize is that her ult isn't a CC if you only hit one champ. Had a fed enemy Master Yi dive 3 of us under turret by himself, so in desperation I unleashed my ult. Well yeah, turns out he still auto-targets enemy champions if his allies or allied minions aren't around, and the Berserk grants him extra attack speed. As I stared at my grey screen after his easy triple, I could hear DJ Khalid in the background...."Congratulations. You played yourself".

Believe me when i say i will never ban Renata, not because i think she's weak or unworthy, it's the opposite, she feels strong but not overpowered. At least her revive has a condition and doesn't bring back 4 teammates with full hp. I'm happy riot can release a somewhat balenced champion again with good lore and voicelines...

The hardest part about playing Renata is actually getting the chance to play her on any mode that isn't Blind Pick, hahah. Great video! :)

Even though the revive is the most outstanding part of her w but the pure attack speed and movement speed buff the ability provide is pretty insane too which lot of people overlooks

@@m-mori it's an overreaction like everyone else. Yes it's powerful but if u look at Gwen's whole kit and Renata's whole kit gwen has far more in it that she didn't need. Overloaded means added features that are just extra bells and whistles that didn't need to be part of the kit just makes them more powerful for no reason like Renata's revive mechanic but besides that Renata doesn't have anything that you would call overloaded in any way shape or form. Gwen on the other hand the way her pasive just procs no joke 27 times with one decent combo her E resets and her litteral Xin ultimate gives her far more stuff she didn't need in her kit but did get over Renata.

@@wolhaiiik5387 not gonna lie while Renata's w is completely bull that is also where her entire power budget went to. Compared to champions I just mentioned above the only extra she has is the revive mechanic. I've listed some of the other stuff someone like gwen has in terms of parts she definitely didn't need to be a good kit but they gave it anyway. And honestly while Zoe has a good amount of stuff in her kit nothing really screams like she didn't need any of it besides her W summoner pickup that is the only thing I find an overloaded part of her kit the rest all makes sense. It's powerful and super annoying and hard to balance burst but it isn't an extra feature tagget on for no reason. I do agree on samira though.

seeing this just fills me with joy, my decision to quit league 4 months ago was the right decision

Eventually there will be a champions who's ultimate will just be like Renata's but single target and quicker and it will just force an enemy to use their ult towards their nearest teammate

Late but mechanic with ult. U can bind someone with q, r and push them back when the r hits them. Idk how useful it would be, but pretty dope.

once used her q to push a ww right as he was in my face ulting. felt so good.

that would only work in low elo, as you can still use smite when Renata has ulted you, and it doesnt give her the kill. Any halfway decent jungler can prevent Renata from ever Baron/Drake stealing by just saving smite

actually find her pretty balanced, i've fucked every single one i've meet, her kit has very low range and hight cold downs, still i think they should remove the revive after an assist and make the actuall revive a little bit more lasting, like yorik ult used to be or something.

Quit league a few years ago, can't even bother to imagine what it's like to get back into it.

in 10 Renata games I've had I only successfully revived 3 people, all matches we were ahead. it doesn't give you 2 HP bars or a tryndamere ult, it just stop death if you get a kill or assist. like how you could get revived at 10 HP then die right after from a random skill shot. also stream blackout by Britney💖

chemtech drake was removed because the camouflage zones provided a huge advantage to winning teams. the soul was basically useless, as was the revive.

The chemdrake was OP for its camouflage zone. It's literally no way back for the losing team as they would just get picked on more easily.

I can´t play league on PC anymore because of my potato computer, but I´m playing Wild Rift. Hopefully she will be released there, looks very fun.

Yesterday enemy Renata ulted our fed Senna with elder buff... Was fun :)

Watching that Irelia engage at around 3:55 again.

She is pretty much engage/disengage/enchater support with a revive

To me, her identity is her ult. If they rework her W to be the old hextech soul and not giving full life, then i will say its balanced.

you give me an idea to make her with full cooldown, damage doesnt matter, survival and partner is 2nd priority, i can make her really tanky with pretty much of ability haste. thanks for the video, i make my own meta now.

in diamond I play her as full tank, on support role.... locket, frozen heart, abyssal, its good

And yet... Aatrox having a revive on his ult was overpowered

best Pyke counter Imo. I also like playing her midlane with AP items like Luden's, her scalings are definitely nice, and E makes you win every trade

If you want a champion that feels similar to Renata mid, play Seraphine. Renata is abysmal with AP items (look at any stats website)

once when i was playing kai'sa adc my gp with renata R killed me since he was doing 500 per auto crit ;-;

She is amazing in team play. In solo q yeah not so much. Your adcs dont follow up or just straight up run away with w on them. Better pick another enchanter that is always consistent no matter what team you have. Like Sona or Nami.

@@nitram.9621 maybe it's just matter of time as people catch up on how to play with her, but on lower elo where i hang out, she didnt really seem that oppresive, and im sure it's 99% because people just cant seem to use her properly, at least yet. but as the guy above said, if you cannot capitalize on her W well, renata seems really weak, and thats what happens in most cases with her on low elo.

Lulu meets Sona and Zilean. The Champ. Renata ult is a Better Sona ult, Renata W is a Better Zilean ult + Lulu shild on the Same skill.

Do enemies deal less damage to other enemies when they're affected with glacial?

They should perhaps change her W revive to be something closer to Sions passive, so perhaps after getting a kill the 3 second life timer resets. Allowing the carry to have the chance of dishing out damage even after getting initially burst down. (Or y'know, atleast not have it as a potential Zilean ult on a 24 sec cooldown without CD built)

honestly it's only her w, if it was just a steroid that would be fine but it keeps them alive for a couple seconds unless they kill someone and just say "wow that bleeding sure has stopped"

That'd be a great Ult for Sylus to steal. I suppose Sylus will be first priority ban for Renanta mains lol.

Next champ : Zulg Passive : Zulg starts the game with "Rabadon Deathcap" and 2000g. He also teleports himself with right-click. He cannot buy boots. Q : Make an enemy flee in a direction for 2 sec giving him 300% movespeed (+100%AP), if the enemy hit a wall he is executed. If he hits another enemy they both are executed. CD 8 sec. Mana cost 20. W : Shield allies for 500 (+200%) for 4 sec. Not decaying. If an ally is successfully shielded then all the allies become invisible. CD 3sec. Mana cost 50. E : Shoots lasers that deals 300 every 0.1 sec for 5sec (+120% AP). Zulg becomes untargetable while shooting lasers. CD 4 sec. Mana cost 35. R : Zulg activate the "surrender option" for enemies with already 4 positive votes. If an enemy presses "no" his ms will be instable between 100/200ms for 1 min. CD 80 sec. Mana cost 100.

her W will always heal the burning target back to only 30% hp if they manage to save themselves, otherwise it just delays death for 3 seconds or less if there are other DOT effects on top of that or just any damage in general.

Old Yorick is crying together with Aatrox

She is strong an dneeds nerfs but she is a vbery well made champion. She has still all the main enchanter problems and weaknesses and so she will be healthy easily. It's when Riot breaks their classes limits that they make champions that can't be healthy and balanced.
