वास्तव में किशोर दा उस समय भी पारस थे और आज भी पारस हैं. पता नहीं कितने लोग उनकी मिमिक्री करके उनके गाने गा कर वाह वाही लूट रहे हैं, रोजी रोटी कमा रहे हैं. मैंने तो संगीत का सा भी उन्हीं से सीखा, और ता भी. दादा एक गायक ही नहीं, संगीत का पूरा एक विश्विद्यालय हैं.

इस फिल्म में किशोर दा के तीन गीत थे , ख‌ई के पान बनारस वाला मैं हूं डॉन जिसका हमें था इंतज़ार ऐन मौके पर ख‌इ के पान बनारस वाला नही जोड़ा जाता,तो‌ भी किशोर दा के गीत तो फिल्म डॉन में होते ही, यह सच है ख‌ई के पान बनारस वाला की लोकप्रियता से फिल्म डॉन के जो गीत प्रभावित हुए वे भी किशोर दा के ही थे ।

He not only refused to do a cameo for a film kishore kumar saheb was directing without giving a good reason but ultimately didn't attend his funeral rites in Khandwa. Rajesh Khanna Ji had far more respect and love for Kishore da and openly credited him for having a huge contribution towards his career. Amitabh Bachchan sounds oddly cold when he speaks about this mighty legend who was gifted beyond belief.
