It's worth noting that Uro, Yorozu, Sukuna, Uraume, Angel, and Kenjaku are from the Heian era, which I think is like between the 9th and 12th centuries in Japanese history, whereas Ishigoori and Kashimo seem to be from the Edo period, going off of the 400 or so years dialed back for the Kashimo flashback from the present day during the Hakari fight. Thus, Kashimo and Ishigoori are not from the "golden age" of jujutsu sorcery.

Ive been telling people that Kenjaku is the final villain, but people seem to not believe it. He wants Gojo and Sakuna to fight each other so one of them gets taken out or they both weaken themselves. Then he will release his masterplan.

But than again I can see Kenjaku jumping their battle last minute trying to kill them both. But that would be risky af. We still don't know what sukunas condition was in their binding vow

Makes me think.. Yuji has a track record of gaining massive amounts of strength due to the pain of those around him. His grandfather's last words were surround himself with people. Kenjakus end game is a massive sacrifice of the population, and durring Shibuya Sukuna made it a point to have yuji NOT see the massive amount of death he inflicted in an instant to avoid Yuji feeling responsible for it. Yuji is kenjakus creation, and kenjaku and sukuna know yuji gains power when those he feel responsible for Die. Kenjaku culling is to male yuji feel directly responsible for unprecedented loss of life causing cursed energy/negative thoughts spike unlike any seen before by a boy creates and fostered to "protect those around him and surround himself with good people" ..The ultimate terror is Yuji when kenjaku slaughters the masses. "to beat sukuna I'll eat anything " eat anything = the pain of loss

Really great and concise video, I found it super easy to follow along the (admittedly) crazy and convoluted lore of Kenjaku. What a fascinating character.

Mahito didn't start off as the leader but do to his potential he was going to be. Kinda a technicality but if I recall jugo initially was

Question not related to the video subject: We were told that Sukuna's fingers were "indestructible cursed objects" and he gains his strenght back for each finger he eats. When Yuji and Megumi first encountered a special class curse (a finger holder), Sukuna destroyed him to get that finger back and ate it; so I wonder why when Sukuna fed Megumi with one of Itadori's fingers to transfer himself to this new host he left 15 fingers back in Itadori's body and did not destroyed him to get them back as the 1 finger cursed he killed? Judging by his later feats, seems he transfered along with his power to Megumi, so do the 15 fingers inside Itadori hold any power to Sukuna or they got drained and are now 15 useless indestructible objects stucked inside Itadori?

Is kenjaku the only thing left of sukunas brother some ancient texts state sukuna was the product of two brothers but ultimately end up being just the one after sukunas parents asked the younger brother of the twins to speak to his older brother about his brutality he was committing and the older twin killed and ate the younger brother not liking him telling him what to do! This is just one of the myths but I think this is why he was displayed after this with 4 eyes 4 arms and a face on the back of his head cause people assumed he became enhanced with his brothers strength after consuming him he became so feared people worshipped him in fear that if they didn’t they would also be eaten or bare the brunt of his wrath!!! And he also was a sign for people not happy with the monarch/emperor of the time cause sukuna did not listen to any decree the emperor had made of him so people felt kinship with this show of rebellion had they really known sukuna I think they would have felt very different

Also what was the “unreasonable” binding vow that would end the unending culling game? That sounds so interesting-

by the time angel breaks out gojo, it ll be too late and kenjaku knows this
